    Mindfulness “Atención plena” en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés de niños y niñas del nivel Inicial

    Este trabajo es un estudio cualitativo de investigación fundamental, busca comprender un fenómeno social con carácter abstracto y reflexivo, basada en una naturaleza inductiva y diseño fenomenológico con alcance descriptivo, se afirma en el paradigma teórico crítico. Su objetivo “Analizar la metodología Mindfulness en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés de niños y niñas de nivel Inicial”, provee una contribución a las investigaciones previas y a la vez, fomenta la implementación de esta técnica en el campo educativo ecuatoriano, conectando a la línea de investigación de comportamiento social y educativo. Los resultados se obtienen bajo el método científico de síntesis y cotejo, tras un amplio trabajo de revisión literaria y descomponiendo en partes las intervenciones en un cuadro analítico de categorías con el contenido de las entrevistas individuales y de grupo focal, más los argumentos teóricos bibliográficos de respaldo; se generan conceptos fundamentados en las diferentes perspectivas. Esta recolección de datos se compiló bajo la técnica de entrevista estructurada con dos instrumentos y guion de preguntas abiertas y cerradas superpuestas a un grupo autoseleccionado de representantes de la institución de respaldo y expertos nacionales e internacionales en ambas variables. Destaca aquí el diseño fenomenológico que explora la opinión de cada participante en cuanto a un mismo tema, proporcionando seriedad y confiabilidad al trabajo al sustentar la importancia de la Atención plena en el aprendizaje del idioma ingles en edad temprana, en las conclusiones y recomendaciones expuestas

    "Técnicas de evaluación alternativa en el aprendizaje del idioma Ingles con los estudiantes de los Octavos años de Educación General Básica en la Unidad Educativa Temporal Agropecuario Luis A. Martínez"

    This research was carried out in the educational field with the aim to investigate the influence of alternative assessment techniques in the process of learning English. The main objective of this research was to demonstrate what techniques or assessment instruments are used by English teachers in the class with eight years of General Basic Education. In addition, I wanted to determine when the English teacher evaluates the students and how these evaluations interfere with academic performance. I obtained relevant evidence to this research through the distribution of surveys to the students and teachers in learning English. The results showed that the type of evaluation in the English classroom is strongly influenced by the traditional model of education. In fact, the lack of a proposed solution to the problems in the school became urgent when there are many students with lack of motivation in learning English. Therefore, as a researcher and author of this research, I propose a solution to the problem within this there is a guide of the use of innovative and alternative assessment techniques in English classes”. It proposes evaluation activities that go beyond a test or exam at the end of the cycle or educational period, allowing the students to construct their own knowledge and take responsibility for their learning process. All of this is provided in order to improve the teaching and learning process of English language and, therefore, the academic performance of students.
