Item La guianza en el turismo inclusivo, caso de estudio: personas con discapacidad física en los museos y quintas del cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de Turismo, 2025-07-01) Villacis Reinoso, Nylsen Adamari; Abril Flores, Oscar Alberto; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Carrera de TurismoThe general objective of this research was to analyze guidance as a tool for the development of inclusive tourism in Jardín Histórico Botánico Atocha – La Liria in order to improve the tourist experience of people with physical disabilities. The importance of the work was base don the need to highlight the limitations faced by this group of visitors when participating in tourist activities. In this way, the aim was to promote the adaptation of content and spaces with a focus on universal accessibility. The metodology used was qualitative, with a non-experiemental cross-sectional design, employing the technique of document, record, and artifact análisis using a document análisis form to evaluate the independent variable. Fort he dependent variable, the observation technique was used through a universal accessibility indicator form. The main results identified weaknesses in the existing tourist scripts, informational documents, and educational material at the study site. In addition, deficiencies were found in the physical structure of the established tourist circuit, whose overall compliance rate did not exceed 50%. Base don the results obtained, a proposal was developed consisting o fan interpretive tourist itinerary and a methodology for the implementation of accesible tourist services. The research concluded that the use of appropriate toos in guiding, together with the adaptation of physical spaces, can generate more equitable and meaningful tourist experiences, positioning Jardín Histórico Botánico Atocha – La Liria as a benchmark for Good practices in inclusive tourism.
