Rhymes with movement, as a playful strategy, integrate rhythm, language, and movement, promoting basic motor skills that contribute to the development of body posture. The study addressed the problem of inadequate body posture development in students from Initial Level II, caused by a lack of knowledge about new playful strategies such as rhymes with movement, leading to low stimulation for this development. For this reason, the main objective was to analyze the contribution of rhymes with movement to body posture development. The methodology followed a quantitative approach, of a pure or basic type, with a quasi-experimental design. An experimental group and a control group participated, with exploratory, descriptive, and correlational scope. A survey with a rating scale from the Ministry of Education, structured with 18 items divided into 6 categories, was applied. The results were analyzed using SPSS software, verifying the instrument's reliability through Cronbach's Alpha. The pre-test results showed that children from both groups had not yet developed proper body posture. Consequently, a methodological process was designed, applying rhymes with movement through playful activities in interventions with the experimental group. After completing 16 sessions, a post-test was conducted, and the results reflected a positive impact on the experimental group, confirming the contribution of rhymes with movement to body posture development.
