Item El Wordwall y el aprendizaje de la Matemática en estudiantes de tercer grado de la Unidad Educativa José Ignacio Ordoñez(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Maestría en Educación Mención en Enseñanza de la Matemática, 2025-01-13) Cojitambo Tucta Elian Nicolai; Morocho Lara Héctor Daniel; Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la educación -Maestría en Educación Mención en Enseñanza de la MatemáticaCurrently, the educational system requires implementing new learning strategies in Mathematics, different from the traditional and repetitive class, in order to encourage, motivate, develop logical and critical reasoning and generate a competitive spirit in students when learning Mathematics through the use of technological and innovative tools. Thus, the present research project was based on analyzing the Wordwall and the learning of Mathematics in third grade students of the José Ignacio Ordóñez Educational Unit. The research presented an exploratory, descriptive and relational level. A field research modality, bibliographic. The approach used in the research was quantitative and qualitative (mixed). In order to fulfill the established objectives, the two research variables were theoretically based on books, scientific articles, repositories, and the interview technique was used by means of a nine-question questionnaire addressed to two third grade teachers of General Basic Education of the José Ignacio Ordóñez Educational Unit, with the objective of identifying the use of Wordwall. Subsequently, the test technique was applied to third grade students of EGB, through the use of a pre-test, the purpose was to diagnose the learning of Mathematics focused on the contents reviewed in the unit “Four-digit numbers. Measures of mass 10”, after which a series of assignments were put into practice with third grade EGB students, applying activities designed in the technological tool Wordwall, finally, the post-test was applied, with the purpose of verifying an improvement in knowledge, skills and grades in the students after applying the Wordwall stimulus. The population used was 29 people, being 27 children belonging to the third grade of EGB parallel “A” and 2 teachers in charge of that level. The conclusions showed that Wordwall allows the development of a competitive spirit, abilities, skills, logical and critical reasoning in the students when learning in an active and participative way through activities, games, predesigned and adjusted to the mathematical content, improving the academic performance of the children.
