Item Evaluación del ruido ambiental y vibraciones de la empresa Master Metal(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-03) Aldas Silva, Jairo Leonel; Urrutia Urrutia, FernandoNoise pollution disturbs the entire population, which is why environmental noise and vibrations must be taken into account as an evaluation variable in the organization of the territory and urban planning, since the Constitution states that all people, flora and fauna have the right to live in a healthy and ecological environment. Thus, the objective of the research is to evaluate the levels of environmental noise and vibrations existing in the company and thus be able to determine if the exposure levels are within the limits allowed by law (annex 5 of the TULSMA for environmental noise and ISO 2631-1 and NTP 784 for whole body vibrations), in addition to proposing a program of preventive measures to improve the quality of life and the relations of the community near the Master Metal company. The measurement of environmental noise and vibration levels counted with an international methodology such as PE-AL-57 ISO 1996-2-2017 and annex 5 of the TULSMA book whose normative establishes the permissible limit value of 60 dB (A) for a commercial land use, in addition, ISO 2631-1 and NTP 784 "Evaluation of full body vibrations on comfort, perception and motion sickness produced by movement" were used, which mentions that to take an action the acceleration value must be 0.5 m/s 2 It is concluded that the measurements taken at the point established as critical, thecompany Master Metal has environmental noise levels of 57.5 dB (A) which do not violate the provisions of the environmental regulations in force in Ecuador, however the calculation of the uncertainty (57.5 ±8% dB) determines that there is a possibility that it may exceed the established limit levels, Therefore, from an investigative point of view, the possibility of an impact should not be ruled out, so a program of preventive measures was carried out to reduce the possible impact generated by the company's environmental noise. As for the vibrations, the measurements taken of the whole body, the maximum rms value of the acceleration signal was aw=0.23m/s and a maximum allowable value of 1.15m/s2, a value below the limits for taking action.2
