Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2022-03) Acosta Lescano, Flavio César; López Arboleda, Jessica PaolaThe present investigation work was developed in Davmotor factory, a place located in Tungurahua, specifically at 15 Km in North Pan-American highway in Ambato city, this company is dedicated to the manufacturing and construction of vehicle bodyworks. This study is based on mechanical risks management, since insecure work conditions are related to the operation of equipment, machines and tools, which could generate a source of danger with a huge potential to generate damages in human resources health. The risk analysis is predicated in the identification of sources of risks and a risk estimation, thus the first one was held through the application of ART sheets that is based on analysis of the activities in 12 workstations and the identification of 18 mechanical risk factors, while, in order to get the risk estimation the author used the methodology on the Criteria Matrix PGV, that determinates quantitatively, on probability, gravity and vulnerably terms if the categorized risk is a moderate, important or an inadmissible risk. Finally, the mechanic risk valuation was done by Willian Fine methodology, which determinate in a quantitative way the degree of danger based on the product of probabilistic variables, such as: a consequence level, probability and exposition. According to this study, on the 12 workstations evaluated, a total of 90 risk factors were identified, whose 44 were tagged as moderated and a GP value smaller than 85, while 24 are important risks with a GP value biggest than 85 and smaller than 200, 22 are inadmissible risks with a GP biggest than 200, the last ones are presented in the operative process only, and those are related with the equipment, machines and tools management, that is why to get the risk control a preventive action is proposed which is based on the risk instruction and the prevention methods through a secure procedure manual.
