Mg.Suicide has become a public health problem worldwide and adolescents head statistics, this research seeks to determine the relationship between family functionality and suicidal intentionality in adolescents, as well as establishing the areas of family functionality that are They relate suicidal intentionality, specify the relationship between the variables suicidal intentionality and family functionality according to gender, in addition to identifying the degrees of risk of suicidal intentionality. The present work is a correlational and transversal study, involving 186 adolescents between 15 and 17 years old, to whom the Family Functionality Questionnaire (FF-SIL) and the Beck Suicidal Intention Scale (SIS) were applied. The results show that there is an inverse correlation between suicidal intentionality and family functionality, at higher risk of suicidal intentionality, family functionality drops by 62%, harmony decreases by 52%, communication decreases by 54% and adaptability it also decreases by 65%, patency increases by 66%, in men adaptability decreases by 55%, in women communication decreases by 71%, the highest degree of suicide risk was 73%, and the lowest risk was 2.1%.
