Mg.The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying, known as the constant and intentional verbal mistreatment or abuse of power that a girl or boy receives from two or more individuals, and family satisfaction, defined as all the positive feelings that appear in the person when he or she is immersed in the family environment. The research was conducted on high school students, the study was of quantitative approach, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type, in a sample of 142 students (72 males and 70 females). The tests used were the Cisneros Self-Test to measure bullying and the Family Satisfaction Scale by Adjectives to measure the construct of family satisfaction. The results showed that there is an indirect correlation of low intensity between bullying and family satisfaction (R=-0.348; p= < .001.); as for bullying the high level predominates (66.9%), followed by the very high level (33.1%) and, finally, in family satisfaction the medium level prevails (35.2%), followed by the very low level (23.2%) and the low level (16.9%). With regard to bullying and sex, no statistically significant differences were found. In conclusion, the higher the bullying scores, the lower the family satisfaction scores, thus proving the importance of family satisfaction as a protective factor against bullying in the students evaluated
