    Los medios visuales y la difusión de la música alternativa en la ciudad de Ambato

    The purpose of this research is to determine the current situation of alternative music and its main exponents in the city of Ambato, a problem that currently affects many new artists who are limited by the immense publicity that the media offers to hegemonic genres. Drastic reduction in the reception by the demographic to which they are directed or little interest that traditional media such as radio or TV show for promoting these national artists, are some of the main causes that make up the painful crisis for which alternative music is crossing and in this way, the abandonment of its exponents towards other areas that allow them a stable economic income. The objective of this project is to contribute to the dissemination of the concept of alternative music, this, carried out through audiovisual media that allow a more dynamic approach to the target audience. For this, an accurate study on this problem has been carried out; as well as all the possible tools related to visual media, which may constitute the basis for an effective search proposal to improve the current situation. The methodology of this research is qualitative, since it deals with a subjective theme, therefore it is necessary to use adequate data collection tools, to understand not only the reasons for this phenomenon, but also to understand what is the best strategy to reverse this situation. Tools such as, interviews with professionals in various areas, even tailored focus groups.

    La comunicación visual y la equidad de género en el transporte público

    The purpose of this project is to sensitize the public transport users of Canton Ambato about the lack of gender equity in the environment, using visual communication in order to create an equitable culture through the practice of courtesy and Empathy in the field of public transport, towards people who require a seat for their condition. The lack of gender equity is a long-standing problem, over the years several organizations and governments worldwide seek to control this problem through policies that seek balance between men and women who, regardless of their differences All of them have an equitable right in the use of the same goods and services in society, as well as in making decisions in different areas of social, political, family and economic life. In order to propose solutions to the problem, public transport users were investigated in order to obtain important data about the perception of the problem and also relate opinions to later analyze them and find the best alternative to communicate about the problem. There was a need to implement a communication campaign that influences the behavior of public transport users by promoting the practice of equitable courtesy without distinction of gender and eradicating gender stereotypes. The desire of the present project is to sensitize both men and women to have the same treatment in the means of public transport, thus obtaining a better social coexistence and an optimal and equitable environment.

    La fotografía y la cosificación sexual de la mujer dentro de las agrupaciones musicales femeninas de la ciudad de Ambato

    The present investigation project has as general objective to determine the participation of photography in sexual reification of women by means of advertising of music bands in the city of Ambato in order to recognize stereotypes, and as specific objectives: Identifying the causes of why women reification happens in female music bands’ advertising, Defining how photography is used to communicate a message within advertising strategies, Analyzing graphic pieces where photography in advertising is involved in female music bands. The present study has a qualitative approach of exploratory and descriptive type in a biographic and field modality. For data recollection, open and punctual interviews were made to different professionals such as professional photographers, a social work graduate, members and managers of female music bands in the city of Ambato. Having the study concluded the participation of photography in female’s bands sexual reification will be defined as very important, showing factors such as dressing, poses, the photographer as a mild referent and the target as a strong referent, where the market transmits the concept of sensuality creating a stereotype around the image.

    The adolescence is a difficult time for a person, because it has different psychological, social and biological changes, if there is not information and help it can be stressful and affect personal comfort, generating problems and changes in the normal environment of the young. The high school is an important factor for the appearance of stress, there are different demands in the classrooms. The problem of academic stress in young people is investigated by psychology, it gives solutions that help to improve the negative effects, however it is necessary to create prevention alternatives for the problem, implement visual strategies that help to improve the development of the school community. This research helps the academic sector with the contribution of: psychology and graphic design in its different areas, with the main objective of creating visual strategies that improve the emotional health of high school students and help school development and society The use of a quali-quantitative research approach in research and also a documentary approach, it was necessary to obtain information of first and second order that help to have a better vision about the problem, surveys were applied directly to the students and interviews were for the psychologists of the "Guayaquil" high school in Ambato, and experts in graphic design, who contributed effectively to the enrichment and veracity of the research. The information confirmed the existence of academic stress in the high school and gave new ideas and concepts about the use of graphic design in a social problem.

    The collective problems strung a series of effects that hinder the development of a society, the coexistence with other living beings is essential, not only in the city, wildlife, ecosystems and even in households, Since the society has made the "pet" animals, part of the daily life, however the tolerance towards the most vulnerable has been affected by beliefs, customs and currently non-profit. Animal abuse is a very little addressed subject, but requires greater attention since these actions mask violent acts to third parties such as: domestic violence, the fact of aggression to others without any precedent is a reflection of social dysfunction. Address this issue from another point of view that awareness, educate and inform society about "the feeling" of animals victims of the "abandonment, trade, stress and physical aggression" through the use of monochromatic photography, supported by the graphic design and visual communication, as the sensations study resource. Developed the analysis, this research genre as a result the production of images "black and white", with an analysis of the compositional elements and concepts, being these evocative images of sensations, as a resource for potential communication to the development of proposals to the problems affecting the city.

    In Ambato the consumption of drugs in young people has increased over time, this social problem is affecting considerably in the performance of young people both in the academic part and in the physical part. Therefore, the research project is based on the implementation of communication strategies with the purpose of informing young people about the problems associated with the use of these substances through messages. Once we were able to investigate the causes and consequences, as the main cause that leads the young person to ingest this type of substances is social pressure, we live in a world where the bad is good, many of these young people choose to use drugs to be accepted in a certain group, coming from disordered families is another cause that young people seek refuge in drugs, based on these causes we can find many that as a main consequence we have addiction to this type of substance, many of these young people when they are already With this problem they choose to go to crime to obtain these substances since they do not have a stable economic status. The research has focused on information dissemination techniques for a correct positioning of messages that help prevent the student from resorting to these substances, correct handling of information, color, plans, typography will help students to be more informed about The problems that cause drug use will help them to become aware and think about whether what they are going to do is good or bad for their health. After doing the research, the development of communication strategies could be proposed, which consists of strategies to inform young people the different problems that drug use has and that they are remembered over time. Regarding the methodology part, surveys were carried out to students of the Educational Unit "Guayaquil" who are studying the baccalaureate level, these students are included from 15 years to 17 years old and the interviews made to the administrative personnel of the DESE department as well as To the teaching staff, all these data obtained by the collection techniques previously mentioned helped to formulate the proposal. The creation of the project has a great contribution to society, since it seeks to prevent many young people from heading for the use of drugs through communication strategies that are useful when transmitting messages to the public.

    El packaging forma - función, en la conservación de la mora de los productores del Cantón Tisaleo.

    Tungurahua is the only Province of the Ecuadorian territory that owns Mora de Castilla organic crops, being Tisaleo the canton that has an ample production of this fruit, generating at the same time a high demand of packaging for its transfer, conservation and commercialization. The problem that this research intends to address has to do with the lack of knowledge of the packaging that can be used for the harvest, transportation and commercialization of the delay, the lack of this knowledge has produced a deficient process management starting with the use of inadequate packaging that does not maintain the physical properties of the fruit in the course of the distribution and marketing chain. The research focuses on investigating the harvest, transfer and marketing of the Mora de Castilla produced in the canton Tisaleo and the packaging currently used for the different processes of harvesting, transportation and packaging for marketing to establish and design a package that ensures the quality of the product and attract the attention of the consumer. The study of these processes will help to identify possible materials and supplies to develop a packaging that meets the quality standards necessary for the conservation of the product and that at the same time allow the differentiation of the product in the market, finally seeks to increase the commercial value of the producers of the canton Tisaleo. That is why it is essential to determine a package for the Mora de Castilla produced in the canton Tisaleo using for its construction graphic design tools, technical and ergonomic standards to ensure proper distribution of the product from its harvest to its final delivery.

    El uso de los medios publicitarios y su relación con el escaso material didáctico interactivo en Lethbridge International School of Languages, en la ciudad de Quito

    On the theme "The use of advertising media and its relation with the lack of interactive didactic material at Lethbridge International School of Languages in the city of Quito", the problem of study was determined: the lack of interactive didactic material for the process of teaching-learning of the English language. The present research work aims to generate a new and innovative way of teaching and learning for children through the use of interactive didactic material that helps a better assimilation of new knowledge, and thus improve the academic performance of children from the language institute "Lethbridge International School of Languages". In order to comply with the objectives, we analyzed contents related to the use of advertising media and the use of interactive didactic material for the teaching - learning process, which are the study variables. It was based on extensive technical and scientific information, consulted in texts of research, brochures, internet and also with the help of previous valuable work for its content, and the very important and effective collaboration of the MSc tutor. Santiago Brito. In order to carry out this research, an adequate methodology has been used, a qualitative - quantitative approach, based on a bibliographical - documentary research, field study in the institute where the object of the present research was observed and analyzed very directly, through the application of surveys to children, teacher interviews, children 's observation sheets and teachers to determine if the interactive teaching material helps in the teaching - learning process. The research carried out has shown that the learning of children should be more dynamic, entertaining, practical, motivating and innovative, teachers must stop imparting a boring and demotivating class, use of interactive didactic material in the classrooms for a better assimilation of knowledge.

    La publicidad y su relación en la preservación de las fiestas tradicionales del Inti Raymi en la ciudad de Salcedo

    The present work of research is oriented to carry out the study of the ancestral Festival of the Inti Raymi (Fiesta del Sol) that takes place in the city of San Miguel de Salcedo, in order to make known the value and meaning that is put During the festive process. At the moment, the devaluation of this type of traditions has become very evident, reason why it is necessary to propose actions that help to preserve and to rescue its importance. In order to validate and propose the adequate implementation of the objective outlined in the project, research methods based on cultural observation were applied; Photographs, video recordings, repository of the Canton Salcedo municipal library, as well as instruments such as interviews and surveys of Canton Salcedo residents, which quantified the level of knowledge, acceptance and participation of the local population yielded results for the interpretation And analysis of data, being favorable to determine the importance of the present project. Nowadays, advertising has been part of daily life, and has become a cultural and economic canvas in society, acting on the attention, perception, understanding, memory, habits and beliefs of man, capable of showing the Reality in a persuasive way. Therefore, the proposal developed is an audiovisual product oriented to the rescue and valorization of the festive tradition in the Canton Salcedo, allowing the population to have full knowledge of the meaning and cultural value, making it develop the sense of belonging, a strengthened collective memory whose Preservation and development are essential to be shown at national and international level.

    The present research focuses its efforts on an extensive analysis of the graphic interface and the application in the SAEES system in order to base, through principles and theories of design, that the graphic interface allows the communication between the user and the system. SAEES proposes the systematization of an evaluation and accreditation model for Higher Education, which was born in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Marketing and Business Management of the Technical University of Ambato, automating an evaluation model similar to that of the current regulatory organization CEAACES. The objective of this project is to apply the model systematized in the marketing careers of zone three in support of the evaluation and accreditation process, categorically and orderly, without evading any requirements that this process requires. The results obtained from the research will allow us to define that design, navigability, usability and interactivity are determining factors that intervene in the exchange of information between the user and web sites. In order to give an effective solution to the research problem, we propose brand design, manual corporate identity, style manual (graphic interface) among others, in order to publicize the service offered by SAEES as an organization and its contribution in the Accreditation processes of higher education
