    The bio accounting has been booming in these days where the protection to the environment has become a necessity for the survival of the mankind, nature provides us with resources that produce assets and services, the same ones that are limited, and not renewable the majority times. Humans have the perception, to value only what has a monetary cost, so it is necessary to implement the different methods of valuation to the natural resources of our country to generate an awareness of its use. Therefore, the National Environmental Accounting System (SCAN acronym in Spanish) is being implemented in the country, which seeks to value natural resources at national level, to protect, renew or replace them, since valuation is of vital importance. Ecuador is considered as a mega diverse country, we have four natural regions that have diverse climates, marine species, birds, diversity of flora and fauna, active volcanos, beaches, lakes, rivers that are used for the generation of resources, recreation, and tourism among others. In this context, the environmental costs appear arise the same ones that can be calculated by applying some of the different valuation methods such as: value of use, not use value, market prices, opportunity cost, travel cost, Contingent valuation, hedonic prices, historical cost, and others. Being the method of travel cost is that it is faster and easier to apply because it is expected that by 2025 tourism is one of the main income for GDP in Ecuador, and in this way take advantage of nature in the generation of income. Ecuador is a country rich in natural resources, the same ones that are visited by multiple tourists, it would be possible to take in two moments the surveys that allow to apply the method of cost of trip that in this case was realized in the family park in Baños, Salinas beach, Cotopaxi National park and the Mera dam.
