Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Criollo Paredes, Walter Iván; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoThe constant growth of energy demand and its future vision of energy supply in many areas of science, engineering and technology, especially in mobile devices, makeenvironmentally friendly and environmentally friendly electromagnetic energy harvesting a high demand alternative in energy generation. They make environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly electromagnetic energy harvesting a high demand alternative in power generation. Therefore, the present work focuses on the development, design, simulation of two Microstrip antennas for electromagnetic energy harvesting systems. The first, is the Hybrid Resonator Planar Structure Antenna (HR-PSA) that operates at a specific frequency of 900MHz, while the other is an Archimedean Spiral Multiband Antenna (ASMA) that works in a frequency range of 1 to 3 GHz, both were developed for energy harvesting systems.Item Sistema de detección de intrusos basado en machine learning(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Vargas Machuca Del Salto, Adrián Gabriel; Manzano Villafuerte, Víctor SantiagoBased on the massification of cloud services and data networks, currently all the valuable information of a company is interconnected to the network to speed up the work and manage the different processes, however this puts it at risk in the face of an attack at the network level, leaving not only your confidential data exposed, but also stopping the pace of work depending on your cloud services, such as email service, website, database, among others. These network services are susceptible to attacks such as denial of service (DoS) and all its variants, mass spamming, port scanning or brute force attacks. All these attacks can be detected at the network level using intrusion detection systems (IDS), the problem is the need to constantly update its database that detects attacks based on a black list, in a similar way to how an antivirus works. conventional. With machine learning, it is proposed to build an intrusion detection system based on behavior patterns, to detect brute force attacks and report it on a web page. Previous research has already laid the foundations to apply Machine Learning in this field, using algorithms such as decision trees, which is a very effective supervised algorithm for Boolean classification. The research similarly raised the application of random forests, which is the iterative combination of decision trees, which improves classification error in most cases. The proposed system goes through two main phases, the first is the training phase where all malicious traffic is captured using the Cowrie honeypot to generate a trained classification model, which is done only once. Then in the testing phase, the algorithm detects in real time the attacks received on the public IP of the company Icono Sistemas and classifies them as malicious or not. In the end and experimentally, it was identified by the confusion matrix generated by the WEKA algorithm that the system based on random forests is capable of successfully detecting a brute force attack, regardless of whether the threat is targeting a specific port or IP. This low-cost system will be able to adapt to basic attacks and their variations, to trigger an alert in case of detection and facilitate subsequent action by the administrator, such as blocking specific input or output ports, limiting traffic of an interface, etc. in case of suspicious traffic.Item Red de Transmisión de Datos a través de las Redes Eléctricas utilizando tecnología PLC (Power Line Communication)(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Terán Espinosa, Diego Jacinto; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoThe purpose of research project is the implementation of a data transmission network through electrical networks using PLC (Power Line Communications) technology in the Mayorga Puerres Building. For which an investigation was carried out prior to the studies carried out by other researchers about this technology, as well as the evolution that it has had in the field of communications for the optimization of resources already installed in the infrastructures of buildings or industries to facilitate high-quality connectivity and security in the protection of data and services to be transmitted over this network. An analysis of the existing electrical network in the building is developed to have a dedicated link that allows to apply this technology within the offices and departments that are within the Mayorga Puerres Building and through the implementation of PLC equipment to have access to the services of a data network that provides internet, telephony and data services using installed power outlets. An analysis of several PLC technology equipment is also carried out in order to choose a device that is capable of providing you with the ease of expanding the network in the future as well as updating them without having to invest high costs and also have a correct performance of the proposed network. The analysis of the results tries to explain the physical connection between computers and PLC equipment, located in such a way that the injected signal achieves connectivity throughout the building's electrical system. In addition, the possible effects that it may have on power quality are analyzed, verifying that the equipment with PLC technology comply with the regulations of electrical network parameters, thus having a minimum impact on the other equipment that is connected to the network, without affecting the quality of the transmission between the different points and to be able to make an assessment that this network is safe against possible intrusions, by having its own hardware implemented within the equipment for better security through the 3DES protocol that provides encryption between GATEGAY equipment and CPEItem Alarmas comunitarias basadas en arquitecturas SDN e IOT(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Placencia Camacho, Franklin German; Manzano Villafuerte, Víctor SantiagoEXECUTIVE SUMMARY Citizen security systems of today more than ever represent a tool of high impact and vital importance for the Society of the 21th Century. Its technological maturity has allowed it to be included in several geographical areas as part of government policies and has even managed to be constitutionally catalogued as a right of all citizens. With the growth of the demand for citizen security systems and the continuous technological advances linked to it. The data that transits over the computational networks that support such systems, constantly suffer from saturation problems and bottlenecks caused by the lack of traffic management policies and quality of service. In traditional network topologies, data is considered equally without distinguishing protocol or priority; because central routers contain policies preloaded and preconfigured by hardware manufacturers. However, in network segments where traffic management is required to be optimized; it is necessary to create custom policies for each of the devices that make up that network. In terms of network control, this represents another major obstacle during the expansion, migration or upgrade of large networks such as those intended for monitoring community alarms that include critical video, audio and data traffic. The research proposes a restructuring of traditional data networks, using two emerging technologies designed for decongestion. In the first instance, a software-defined network architecture (SDN) is used to separate the control plane from the data plane on the network switches and thereby solve the problems of expansion, migration or upgrade of large networks. Second, the infrastructure of community alarms activated by radio frequency devices is replaced by an IoT network architecture with MQTT communications protocol. Finally, we present the results of a bandwidth analysis of a traditional network without control policies over which digital audio services (VoIP), video surveillance (CCTV), data and IoT control packets pass; demonstrating that critical traffic services tend to capture 80% of the total bandwidth of the network. And in addition, the advantages and results of a software-defined network topology designed to work synergistically with IoT protocols are evaluated. In addition to providing simplicity and simplicity during the implementation of traffic and quality of service policies configured through a web environment that can be implemented and replicated in high-demand network environments.Item Sistemas de comunicación air-to-air para trabajo colaborativo de drones en zonas rurales(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Caicedo Altamirano, Fernando Sebastián; Moreno Avilés, Hugo OswaldoThis paper proposes the development and implementation of a communications system for multiple drones working in synchronization on the same task, as well as, the identification of optimal frequencies for optimal system performance. SDR technology was used by means of USRP NI-2932 devices and log-periodic antennas. The system was developed in LabVIEW. QAM modulation was used in the creation of a graphical interface for said system’s transmitter and the receiver. The performance tests were carried out in two stages. The first stage was held in a laboratory whilst the second was held in the field in a rural area. It was possible to identify that there is the highest amount of interference produced by drones in operation between 2 and 3 GHz and that 1.8 GHz is the optimal performance frequency for the communication system.Item Ruta óptima de tráfico de una red virtual basada en análisis de datos y algoritmo de Machine Learning(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Chávez Fuentes, Carla Patricia; Ríos Villacorta, Percy AlbertoThe present research topic aims to determine the óptimal traffic route of a virtual network based on data analysis and machine learning algorithms through traffic prediction. As in physical networks, in virtual networks, the óptimal design of a communication network is sought. Optimizing a data network is not an easy task, due to the complexity and the number of factors necessary to evaluate to obtain a solution that satisfies the end users [1] [2]. Therefore, in this proposal it is proposed to determine an óptimal traffic route of a virtual network, in order to reduce the unnecessary consumption of network bandwidth and other resources. Traffic analysis of a network is a key point in determining its architecture, which is why it has become a topic of great interest in recent years [3]. The great technological advance that has occurred in recent years, the development of artificial intelligence and the use of machine learning algorithms known by its acronym in English as machine learning (ML), have made it possible to solve several problems in the area of engineering and computer science [4]. Under this first, it is proposed to make use of ML algorithms to determine the óptimal route of traffic in a virtual network through its analysis of traffic and its status. To determine the óptimal route for network traffic, an objective function is intended to minimize the traffic in each node, making the most of the determined bandwidth. The analysis of the topology and architecture of the network will allow to determine the óptimal route for the network traffic so that the design meets the needs of the end users.Item Deep Packet Inspection en el router Mikrotik de borde de la red de un ISP con el fin de identificar y prevenir ataques externos.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) López Narváez, Santiago Martín; Guevara Aulestia, David OmarThe network infrastructure equipment's protection and its availability are affected by the increase of cyberattacks. For this reason, there is a need for developing methods to reduce the negative impact caused by attacks. It is essential that any small, medium, or large business, has its proper network security to protect itself. Similarly, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) must have all the security. Therefore, their customers have the service without interruption, and the information they exchanged on the internet is also properly protected. This research project suggests a tool to detect DDoS attacks with the use of DPI and NetFlow. Thus, the network's border of the internet service provider uses the tool mentioned before. The algorithm uses Python code for detecting attacks, and it tested on the ISP's network for eight days, obtaining true positives hits in the detection of cyberattacks of 92%. The NetFlow collector uses Elasticsearch and Kibana, allowing the information collected to be presented in an orderly manner and to create graphs of interest to the ISP. It is crucial to highlight that the developed script communicates with the ISP's Mikrotik border router to block the attack source IP. Thanks to this tool, the ISP can have a layer of security and offer greater availability to its customers.Item Simulación de Aplicaciones con series trigonométricas de Fourier en sistemas de comunicaciones electrónicas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Rodríguez Ortiz, Alex Francisco; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoIn the first scenario, the objective was to develop an application that would graph Fourier Trigonometric Series of continuous functions and represent graphical functions with a high degree of fidelity without the need for the Internet to execute the necessary processes. This application was developed and implemented in Python with the SymPy and numpy libraries to use computer calculation. The results displayed by the application are based on fidelity with the theoretical development. In the second current scenario, there has been an immense advance in the field of wireless communications in this world of modern engineering. Today's softwaredefined radio (SDR) technology is an undisputed emerging technology and presents new challenges for communications engineers. The advancement of the SDR system has made significant progress in recent years, making it a substitute for traditional hardware radio architectures where mathematical procedures are required to decode and process radio signals using analog circuitry. Recently, computers have turned out to be powerful enough to do the required mathematical calculations using software. Therefore, the aim of this research project is to demonstrate that an RTL-SDR-based spectrum analyzer can be used competently as an alternative to the existing hardware spectrum analyzer. This approach will reduce the complexity of the analog hardware system with the greater manageability of software-based filtering and demodulation techniques. As RTL-SDR devices are relatively inexpensive (approximately $ 30) and small in size, this system also offers cost-effectiveness with the provision of portability. An experimental study was carried out with the appropriate conditions to examine the viability and efficiency of the proposed system. Basically this research project presents the implementation, testing of an application for the simulation of Fourier Trigonometric Series and a low-cost software-defined radio based on the Raspberry Pi4 computer, the RTL-SDR radio receiver and the GNU software. Radio. Key issues related to installing and configuring the GNU radio and RTL-SDR drivers on the Raspberry Pi OS are covered. The resulting prototype can demodulate AM and FM signals in the 30MHz to 1.7GHz frequency range and can also fulfill the role of Spectrum Analyzer in demanding applications of moderate sensitivity.Item Sistema de monitoreo de salud estructural (SHM) de puentes de hormigon mediante redes WSN(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) López Naranjo, Saúl Gabriel; Salazar Escobar, Fabián RodrigoThis project designs a structural health monitoring system (SHM Structural Health Monitoring), based on WSN networks to control the integrity, safety and performance of the structure of a concrete bridge through the deployment of several sensors, responsible for constantly recording the vibrations caused by vehicular flow, pedestrian or due to unpredictable events caused by nature, such as earthquakes, high winds etc.. This wireless sensor network has a dynamic architecture, consisting of several stages, first there are the sensors also known as nodes which are located at the most critical points of the structure, the same that are responsible for recording the vibrations during time intervals. Subsequently, the information obtained is transmitted by radiofrequency signals to the central node or Gateway, which is in charge of collecting the information received from the nodes and sharing it with a computer located at the base station. As a result of the monitoring, a strong correlation was found between the length of the bridge and its respective vibration periods, regardless of the thickness of the concrete structure of the bridge. With this research, a baseline or reference line on the behavior of this type of bridges was established, so that in the future there will be a continuous follow-up and updating of the recorded information, with the intention of predicting failures and damages caused either by the vehicular or human flow or due to the environmental forces to which the bridge is exposed.Item Gestión y calidad de servicio para una red IPTV con tecnología GPON(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Chico Analuisa, Luis Enrique; Pallo Noroña, Juan PabloAt present, fiber optic networks have become the main means for the distribution of multimedia content at a global level, they provide networks with a large bandwidth for the flow of traffic that passes through their infrastructure, GPON is one of the most widely used standards for the deployment of fiber optic networks, however disorderly growth and limited management policies have caused the services provided by these networks to degrade, where end users receive deficient services. The company FASTER_ISP has a GPON network to provide Internet access to its end customers, which has an ODN infrastructure and an internal plant with good characteristics, however, it does not have a management system and QoS service quality, causing various technical problems in its operation and functioning, where there are various problems for the distribution of multimedia services such as IPTV, Video calls, Online games, Streaming, etc. The objective of this scientific research is to provide a management system and quality of service for IPTV and restructure the GPON network of FASTER_ISP, in the first instance the operation of this type of network is analyzed, conceptualizing its main elements and characteristics, followed From this, the current state of the network is determined, where by means of field views and information gathering, its entire infrastructure is determined, the class of equipment that is being used, its mode of operation and end-user management. With the information obtained, a solution is analyzed and proposed that allows to improve the administration of the network with respect to the multimedia services that are delivered to the end users of FASTER_ISP, so that by means of an operation algorithm the GPON network of FASTER_ISP is managed with perimeter security and quality of service policies, as well as the use of an optical budget for the construction of the last mile network, and finally it is determined that for the distribution of IPTV, it is necessary to implement a local IPTV server, on a dedicated line for video that guarantees the quality of experience of the users in the reception of this service. For the implementation of the proposed system, it is first verified that the last mile facilities meet the optical budget requirements, followed by configurations in the Core and edge equipment, with efficient security and quality of service policies, once This ends, we proceed to the installation of the local IPTV XTREAM server, the same one that allows the distribution of video content, over the local network, optimizing resources and guaranteeing the quality of the QoE experience. Finally, the corresponding tests are carried out, determining that the implemented system meets all the objectives proposed in the investigation.Item Sistema de comunicación y transmisión de video en tiempo real a través de drones a larga distancia(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Moreta Changoluiza, Janneth Elizabeth; Moreno Avilés, Hugo OswaldoOne of the major technological trends worldwide is the development and use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) civil and military fields. Nowadays, video transmission has become a trend, and as technology advances, the human being demands more sophisticated technological tools. In this case we are looking at better quality real-time video transmission which increases even more with the help of a drone allowing the user to have an overview of areas difficult to access. This article shows the design and implementation of a wireless communications system which allows transmission of video in real time (Streaming) from the DJI Matrice 600 Pro industrial drone in flight controlled from a ground base station. Software with SDR (Software Defined Radio) technology was used for this project, which has helped complete several stages of the system. With the exception of elements such as antennas or amplifiers, all of the blocks have been implemented normally. On the other hand, the use of hardware was minimized to the use of a computer with LabVIEW, USRPs, a drone, a camera and the antennas. For the verification of the results, the respective tests were carried out in a lab.Item Sistema de información geográfica para la gestión de los cultivos de la parroquia Izamba(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Velasco Arcos, Gonzalo Guillermo; Pallo Noroña, Juan PabloAgriculture is the backbone of Ecuador and our economy, which accounts for almost 9 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP) and generates sources of employment above 30 per cent. Because of the increased demand for food, people are trying to make extra efforts and special techniques to multiply food production, that is, to get the most out of their plantations. The use of different technologies for the agricultural sector is one such effort. Apart from the use of scientific technologies in agriculture, information technology is being used extensively in this area. Technologies such as satellite navigation, sensor network, grid computing, ubiquitous computing, and context-conscious computing are supporting that domain to improve monitoring and decision-making capabilities. Today’s farmer is concerned because this work is becoming more and more expensive by inputs, water consumption, this only in traditional agriculture and if this is increased technology either for uncontrolled (outdoor) or controlled environments (greenhouse) would consider it an investment that they do not require as necessary, but due to the progress of other countries technology is already beginning to be considered within agriculture as a fundamental technique. However, the strength of the citizens who carry out the agricultural work is not technology, thanks to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) efforts have been made to ensure that this sector receives some training from the Ecuadorian government and thus provide the farmer with the necessary knowledge not only in the area of soil and climate requirements but also in techniques that can be used within the Technology assisted tillage period. In general terms, this generates a discontent to much of the agricultural sector because it only remains in words and they do not have much knowledge in this part can not get to implement it in their crops and otherwise they would access an external person to carry out the processes I would like to make it clear to the House that the Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, Fisheries and Food Safety, has decided to set up a Committee of Inquiry into the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection. On the other hand, most of the techniques in which the so-called precision agriculture is used occur when the crops have already been selected and sown, but not before the sowing process, in this way a more significant contribution is intended to be made to the system to be developed, taking into account from the zero minute the soil and climatic conditions and according to it go for a less complicated decision-making when it comes to planting to get the best possible yield. The research proposes a user-friendly system for people engaged in agriculture and low cost. In the first instance, the technology based on wireless sensor networks (WSN) is used to access the soil and climate information that can be acquired through some sensors. Second, a mesh network is configured for the sending of information as multiple devices can be added to the network and in the event that there is a problem in a node, the system continues to function normally. Finally, the results are presented to the analysis carried out through the wireless sensor network system from the zero minute as it has been called to the process of making a decision before planting and indicating the location through a geographic information system. In addition, the advantages of using a wireless sensor network in traditional agriculture are evaluated and the results compared according to those obtained through the system. In addition to providing ease of handling with greater benefit to all people who perform this daily work within the country.Item Prototipo de Red de Transmisión de Datos mediante la utilización de LIFI (Light Fidelity)(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Reinoso Soria, Lizbeth Aracelly; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoIn recent years the field of optical communications has evolved to optimize network performance. Due to the demand of users for having high quality services, faster and better applications, the need arises to develop new high capacity and secure networks. The LIFI technology study facilitates the development and implementation of the data transmission network prototype in the offices of Construction Company Telmo Mayorga that allows data to be transmitted at the same time and illuminates the room using visible light. The project brings together investigations of concepts that are related to wireless communication without the use of electromagnetic waves for data transmission and obtaining results through the analysis of the developed prototype. It should be noted that the data transmission speed depends on the electrical installations and the programming in the equipment. What's more; as every network needs a security in the transmission of data, the same that was provided by the MQTT protocol showing that who is subscribed is who can receive the message.Item Plataforma de seguridad perimetral para un ISP (proveedor de servicios de internet)(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Yacchirema Lumbi, Gladys Cristina; Guevara Aulestia, David OmarToday computer security plays an important role in all sectors of society starting with government agencies, educational institutions, financial institutions, health centers and of course companies; the commitment and responsibility of each of them is to safeguard their data and information of people which leads to use platforms to efficiently manage the threats that try to breach the security of a network. This research project aims to implement a perimeter security platform for the company Simantec, due to the business line of the company and the flow of information it handles, a perimeter security system covers the needs and requirements demanded by this entity, being the highest priority the protection of all data considered the most important asset of the entity. The implementation of a proprietary UTM (Unified Threat Manager) at the boundary of the Internet and LAN will mitigate the threats to which the data is exposed, functions such as antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, network firewall, intrusion prevention and detection, and content filtering will maximize the security of the information. In addition, the creation of VPN to access the internal network from anywhere and access the company's services will increase security. At the same time, another defense equipment will be configured, a software UTM with the same functions of the proprietary UTM. The objective is to compare the two threat managers, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each one in order to choose the best option considering cost/benefit, features, performance, security and above all profitability. Finally, we propose the development of a plan of good security practices, with the aim that employees incorporate as a habit certain methods to prevent attacks carried out through malicious activities by third persons.Item Optimización del Overlap en las redes WSAN mediante algoritmos matemáticos(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Cáceres Navas, Wagner Javier; García Sánchez, Marcelo VladimirGiven the upgrade towards a production scheme whose main basis is the capa- bility of sharing data between all the devices from the system, Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSAN) have acquired a major roll within the current industry. One of the main appealing points of this type of networks is the high flexibility and scalability that they posses compared to wired architectures. How- ever, it does not surpass its predecessor in all fields. WSANs have not been able to fully replicate the bandwidth and reliability capacities of its predecessor, but in the industrial area this does not represent an impediment for their implementa- tion and usage. Many industrial applications based on realtime monitoring and audio streaming that involve sensors and actuators only need bandwidth rates up to 250 Kbps [9]. This results in standards like WirelessHART, ISA 100.11a, IEEE 802.15, and 6TiSCH being able to effectively satisfy the reliability need of the systems [15]. Many standards compatible with WSANs support real-time data traffic. Within the most popular ones we can find the Time-Syncronized Channel Hop- ping (TSCH), that stands out thanks to its outstanding features. TSCH has been opening up field in both industrial [3] and automotive [8] environments due to its characteristics of: Time-division multiple-access (TDMA), frequency diversity and centralized scheduling. Given this characteristics, this standard has gained a bigger usage in factory automation and process control applications. Thus, increasing the acceptance and integration of the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)Item Sistema de monitoreo y geo-referenciación aplicado a servicios de encomiendas mediante triangulación de antenas celulares(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. This monitoring and control system is useful in its implementation for the parcel service, the average error percentage of the Georeferencing system for latitude is 7% and for longitude 0%.Item Despliegue de un honeynet basado en redes definidas por software para un ISP(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Terán Moreano, Rubén Edison; Manzano Villafuerte, Víctor SantiagoCurrently the Internet has become a basic service in Ecuadorian homes and its use is growing exponentially, for this reason Internet service providers or ISPs are concerned about solving the presence of data traffic within their infrastructure, the root of this problem, is that companies have been obliged to increase the capacity in the channel dedicated to their customers at a lower cost in order to monopolize the market, without imagining that the increase in subscribers implies an increase in width band within your own network. To avoid congestion in the company's conventional network, it is proposed to use the OpenFlow protocol, on Mikrotik brand devices, the software defined network (SDN) is executed, with HPE VAN SDN as orchestrator of the new Network topology. The tests performed are shown, both for data response speed and bandwidth performance results. By having a new technology in the data network, it is proposed to improve perimeter trust with honeypots, applying and configuring several honeypots to create a honeynet (union of honeypots). With software distributions such as Honeydrive and T-Pot, all the tools embedded in each one was described, showing as a result of the investigation the respective security tests and the importance of having a Trap system within an ISP.Item Sistema de gestión de servicios de internet de la red de acceso fijo de CNT EP del cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Reinoso Soria, Felix Saúl; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoThe present work shows the design and manufacture of two frequency independent antennas, compact, in microstrip technology, low cost and operating within a very wide frequency range for electromagnetic energy harvesting applications, which were optimized with the With the help of the CST software and manufactured on FR4, the operating frequencies are established mainly within the range of the spectrum where the different cellular operators have been concessioned for 2G, 3G, 4G LTE technology in Ecuador, and even WIFI, which is currently the most widely used band , with very wide bandwidths, which allows the efective collection of electromagnetic energy for frequencies of greater presence and more used in the Ecuadorian territory.Item Arrays de Antenas Inteligentes para la Captación Óptima de Energía Electromagnética(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Maestría en Telecomunicaciones, 2021) Escobar Suárez, Ernesto Guillermo; Gordón Gallegos, Carlos DiegoSmart antennas are currently one of the most exploited fields in terms of wireless networks, allowing high data transmission capacities, this is achieved by focusing the radiation in the desired direction and adjusting to the environment and conditions in which communications are developed. Smart antennas employ a set of radiating and emitting and combining elements organized in the form of arrangements connected at a common point to guarantee the required power, the signals from these elements are combined to form a moving beam pattern that follows a pattern determined by the user or designer. The biggest challenge to apply smart antenna systems within the Electromagnetic energy harvesting in wireless communications is the ability of high frequency antennas to capture an adequate power level for energy harvesting and storage, therefore, a Great bandwidth to take advantage of various wavelengths present in the environment, such as 3G and WIFI frequencies (2.4 GHz). The consumption of energy within communication systems is considered a big problem and a challenge when carrying out implementations in media where the storage or recharging of the end terminals is complicated by their location, this trend grows with the presence of the Internet of the IoT things, where it is directly dependent on the construction of a large wireless network that allows everything to be interconnected, for this reason there are investigations in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz bands and represents future work for the 5th Generation (5G) cell phone. The great possibility of collecting electromagnetic energy from densely populated urban areas becomes a great renewable source of power for communication devices for both existing Wi-Fi technology and new technologies such as the 5G network.
