Item VIOLENCIA PERCIBIDA POR ESTUDIANTES DE ENFERMERÍA DURANTE SUS PRÁCTICAS CLÍNICAS(2025-10-01) Chiliquinga Aguilar, Joselyn Adriana; Velasco Acurio, Evelin Fernanda; Universidad Técnica de Ambato / Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Carrera de EnfermeríaIntroduction: Clinical practices represent a crucial phase in the training of nursing students, providing them with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in a real healthcare environment. However, this formative period can also be marked by adverse experiences, among which violence stands out and poses a significant challenge for students. Objective: To analyze the perception of violence in nursing students at the Technical University of Ambato during their clinical practices. Methods: Research with a quantitativ e approach, non-experimental design, descriptive scope and cross section. The population was made up of students studying Nursing at the Technical University of Ambato. Results: Nursing students at the Technical University of Ambato mainly perceive non-physical violence during their clinical practices, with 57.6% reporting criticism and 54.7% feeling neglect, the main sources of violence are patients, doctors and nurses; 40.6% consider leaving the career due to the negative impact on their psychological well-being. Conclusions: Violence affects the well-being and training of undergraduate Nursing students, which requires policies to guarantee safe and respectful environments.
