The study delves into the benefits of regular physical activity for overall well-being, especially in a context where sedentary behavior is increasing as a risk factor for various diseases. Objective: To analyze the relationship between attendance at fitness academies and the emotional state of young adults, evaluating the impact of regular physical exercise on anxiety levels. Methodology: The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive- correlational design. A total of 60 individuals participated, including 30 gym attendees and 30 non-attendees. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) were applied to collect data. Results: The findings reveal that 50% of participants reported high levels of physical activity, which were associated with lower levels of anxiety. In contrast, those with low levels of physical activity were more likely to exhibit higher anxiety states. Conclusions: Regular physical activity is associated with reduced anxiety levels in young adults. These findings highlight the importance.
