Mg.The nurse for several years has been considered a "Being Humanist" with integrated training, possessing cognitive and interpersonal skills as well as being able to solve problems in a timely manner, meeting the needs of their patients. This analysis Clinical case presents a 73 year old male diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm pathology in our country is rare, being detected in routine examinations, tests performed to confirm other diseases as the most cases are asymptomatic or is mistaken for other diseases having a life expectancy very encouraging for the patient. For the realization of this work the Care Model of Nursing Virginia Henderson the same as identified critical points and the main risk factors that helped trigger the disease, through literature and medical history review and assessment of applied the quality of life that the patient leads after aortic repair with placement of an abdominal aortic stent , in addition to identifying risk factors that today is exposed either by lack of education by health personnel or the lifestyle of the patient why the proposal nursing is based on the creation of a guide to self-care for patients with abdominal aortic stent , in order to improve both the quality of life and life expectancy of the patient.
