    Textile craftsmanship is one of the most representative trades in Ecuador's Indigenous communities. However, in communities like Salasaka, this practice has declined significantly due to factors such as migration, lack of interest among younger generations, and low market demand for artisanal products. Therefore, this project proposes the development of a clothing collection incorporating Salasaka artisanal weaving, in collaboration with the "Curindi" workshop. The main objective of this initiative is to generate economic and cultural opportunities for local artisans while contributing to the preservation of their ancestral practices. The proposal is framed within a sustainable fashion approach, aligned with current consumer trends and preferences, and seeks to position itself as an innovative alternative that boosts the value of artisanal products in the contemporary market. The research includes a detailed study of the weaving techniques used in the "Curindi" workshop, identified through direct observation and interviews. Key elements such as natural fibers, dyes, loom types, and the iconography present in the pieces produced are analyzed. In parallel, a market and target audience analysis are conducted, using tools such as interviews, focus groups, and observations, to design a relevant, viable collection with high cultural value.
