    This thesis project focuses on the design of a clothing collection that incorporates the embroidery technique, in collaboration with the women of the Simiatug Samai association in the province of Bolívar. The research addresses a bibliographic review of the traditional embroidery technique of Simiatug, a community known for its rich cultural and artisanal heritage. Through a qualitative methodology that combines research, market analysis, and clothing design, the project seeks to better understand the community's cultural identity and the needs of the modern market. The proposed collection integrates traditional embroidery with contemporary designs, targeting a market of national and international tourists who value craftsmanship and cultural identity. The project seeks to revitalize the embroidery technique through income generation and the promotion of its work on local and international platforms. The research results include the identification of the association's main internal management needs and collaboration with artisans, the technical and aesthetic characteristics of Simiatug embroidery, and the preferences of the selected market to define a clothing collection that combines traditional techniques with modern designs. This project demonstrates that the integration of traditional techniques with contemporary designs is not only possible but can also be an effective strategy for cultural preservation and the economic empowerment of artisan communities.
