(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicaciòn, 2024-02) Constante Rodríguez, Ashly Ariadne; Viteri Torres, Walter Francisco
The study focuses on analyzing the narrative of Ecuadorian children's literature in relation to individualism, aiming to describe how this theme is approached in the selected works. An exhaustive bibliographic search was conducted to establish analysis parameters, and detailed matrices were defined to break down relevant narrative elements. The results revealed a coherent representation of individuality in the selected books, where it was found that the structure and narrative elements contribute effectively to conveying this concept. However, some difficulties in understanding the moral were identified by children in certain stories, suggesting the importance of selecting books that promote this theme in an accessible manner for their audience. In summary, this study highlights the significance of children's literature as a tool for addressing topics such as individualism and promoting ethical values among young readers

The twentieth century has been characterized by the revolution in technology, with this change is achieved to link and interconnect the world generating advances in communication, new virtual platforms and the emergence of social networks changes the ways in which human beings relate, opinions and comments. Among the research question posed for this thesis is the following: What influence does the content on corruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, issued by media leaders and influencers of public opinion, have on public opinion? Is there greater credibility and monitoring of the characters when negative and attacking comments are issued? Mass communication in the digital era and with social networks reaches broad audiences with direct messages because characters like the ones in this research are the influencers and media opinion leaders achieve a legitimization of opinions, so that they get followers and thus give strength to these characters to continue to issue opinions in this case about corruption in Ecuador, Noelle Neuman (2010) in The Spiral of Silence states that "He can agree with the dominant point of view, which reinforces his self-confidence and allows him to express himself without reticence and without the risk of being isolated from those who hold different points of view" (p. 201) Self-communication in these social networks in this case Twitter has become a nest of true and false opinions given by public media characters and social actors (influencers). They use collective indignation such as cases of corruption and messages with negative content, in order to position themselves in the digital medium as social actors of opinion, according to Castells (2011). It is self-communication because one generates the message oneself, defines the possible receptors and selects the specific messages or contents of the web and electronic communication networks that one wants to recover. For the development of the analysis, we proposed to work with a content analysis, emphasizing the first 10 comments of each Twitter about corruption in the accounts of @TinnocoTannia and @PedritoExtranja. We then set out to execute a quantitative approach to obtain greater proximity to the questions posed, using the SPSS program and executing the cross tables for comparison between the characters analyzed. The research has four chapters that are divided into: theoretical framework, methodology, analysis and discussion of results to close with conclusions and recommendations.

(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2020-08) Costales Bravo, María Katalina; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron Orlando
Traditional Ecuadorian music is full of cultural richness. This allows us to look back in time and identify events of socio-cultural identity expressions that are reflected in the era where elements of acculturalization in music and transcendental changes are combined by the entrance to the Internet. The objective is to identify if the diffusion of the Ecuadorian traditional music affects the musical historical memory of the young people; which; in addition we resorted to the techniques of Interview in indirect form by means of the platform of zoom / Wassap and Messenger which was handled this way since we were in sanitary emergency by the world-wide pandemic Sars-Covid-19; that's why it was done virtually and the surveys that were done physically to young students coming to the conclusion that Ecuadorian music is one of the most beautiful in the world; since its rhythms are unique played with instruments of nature in many of the rhythms of all our regions: and its lyrics are the experiences of the performers, stories of our mother earth, the pain of a people who suffer poverty, the discrimination of the oppression of those in power, the romanticism of those in love; which have been lost in the musical memory of our youth by the introduction of the reggaeton and other musical rhythms that have been positioned in the psyche of young people; This is due to the fact that both the corresponding governmental entities have not given the necessary importance for the youth to enjoy our musical roots and spread it in a natural way without the obligation of someone or something, but to have the self-esteem for who we are through the traditional music and give it the necessary importance. It is clear that due to the lack of incentive young people are losing that taste for spreading traditional music, even though they are still curious about it and knowing who we are culturally and through music; but there is still no one who is really interested in not losing this musical identity with young people.
