    Tenía que ser el Chavo del 8, discursos y estigmas sociales en las narrativas de la vecindad

    The central point of this research is to analyze the television discourse in the media narratives of the comedy show "El Chavo del 8." Five episodes produced by Roberto Gómez Bolaños were selected as the material for analysis: two from the second season of 1973, one from the fourth season of 1975, and the final two episodes from the fifth season of 1978. The objective is to understand how the program evoked numerous emotions and feelings in the television audience through melodramatic elements in its narratives. Additionally, the study examines how the combination of images and linguistic text has a significant impact on the collective social imagination. Furthermore, the research analyzed the language used in the discourses by conducting a lexical survey to determine the quantity of repeated words within the production of the five episodes. This was done to identify the established stigmas surrounding each of the main characters of the program, encompassing behavioral, ideological, physical, and social stereotypes. The research is supported by a bibliographic and theoretical review, drawing from relevant authors in the field to establish argumentative and methodological connections that help comprehend the dynamics constructed through the discourses of the television show.

    Narrativas de la crónica roja sobre feminicidios en el diario “Extra”

    This investigative Project studies through the critical analysis of the speech, the superstructure of the journalistic narratives that the journal “Extra” spreads. It has as objective to reflect, describe, and analyze related to the yellow press through stories compassed within the gender-based violence, specifically about feminicide or femicide in December, 2022. This work is structured in four chapters. The first chapter contains the theoretical framework, which allows us to comprehend the bases that involves this thematic such as, debates of the current journalism, yellow press, gender-based violence, and feminicide or femicide. In the second chapter, it is established the methodology and guidelines to conduct the corresponding analysis of the journalist narratives whose superstructure is contemplated by Teun Van Dijk, and it has the following structure: headline, summarizing, exposition, complication, ending, evaluation and moral. Likewise, in the same section, the Ruth´s Benítez methodology is established, and it is added the following analysis: author of the news, section that it belongs, term used to determine the crime, selection and hierarchical organization of the sources, textual quotes, representation of the victim, representation of the femicide, relationship between the victim and femicide and causality/justification. Finally, throughout the interpretation it is concluded that in the majority of the news do not present sensationalism in theirs headings or narratives. When analyzing the superstructure it is confirmed that it does not exist an evaluation or a moral. On the other hand, neither the victim is blamed nor the crime is justified. The victims are presented as they are, women who suffered gender- based violence.
