Citizens have appropriated of these media narratologies as something close and own, assuming them as part of a normality of the social coexistence. The speeches about fears and violence set up stages that can denominate as post-apocalyptic that have led to live in societies trapped by anxiety and insecurity, and by this form creating a total show where all is visible and to some point the fears and violence have become an entertainment destined to satisfy a voyeuristic and complacent look of the population; the culture of fears and violence are assumed as owns where the citizens live a daily life that is in constant threat leading to formation of a reality or of an imaginary that disturbs the population. The present essay is a theoretical reflection that starts from a critical bibliographic review from a media narratology of violence, cultural and symbolic anthropology, and the various sociological speeches of these categories, and how the ways of telling fears, violence within contemporary journalism have been built.Item El discurso en las fotografias de guerra del conflicto de Vietnam desde 1965 hasta 1975 oublicadas por The Associated press y la opinión pública(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2019-05) Auz Valencia, Dennis Paul; Viteri Torres, Walter FranciscoThe media, such as the radio, the press and television, were in charge of disseminating different historical events such as wars since the last century, generating public opinion among the citizens of all the societies that have access to this information. In the research we analyze the discourse in the war photographs of the Vietnam conflict from 1965 to 1975 published by The Associated Press and the influence they had on the American society of the time. In order to know the power or the impact that these photographs had and have, the following objectives were proposed: Analyze the discourse in the war photographs of the Vietnam conflict from 1965 to 1975 published by The Associated Press, analyze the influence of public opinion on the speech of said photographs, and choose the photographs according to their most relevant themes. To achieve the aforementioned objectives, a survey of 9 questions was conducted to the 16 teachers of the Social Communication career of the Technical University of Ambato, who responded in the great majority that the mass media, in this case the written press, manipulate the public opinion with the contents they disseminate, and this can change the course of an event as important as a war. The question arises of whether the way of doing journalism affects the perception of audiences, this arises from the investigation to know the power of the media, specifically the radials that are the strongest information channel in the city of Ambato. The specialization of those who work in different media is eminent to offer enriching programming in every sense. We must create an interested society capable of emitting criteria based on a current logical reflection. This clearly draws attention because society demands a change aimed at receiving quality content, although it is true that the masses trust the opinion of journalists, but these in turn and not in all cases share criteria or information to the chance with comments without common sense and sometimes biased what affects the audiences that need listening to varied topics with deep sense and construction of ideas before and after sporting events, that is, analyze the perspectives that leave this or that decision within an institution sport of which we are all adept. The sports radio program of the city has become monotonous or mechanical, which makes the listener a passive entity that listens to what is not what intellectually enriches it, that is, it is informed, but it does not understand what it received. . Several radial sports programs do not handle an order or structured design, which causes interruptions, mistakes that are compensated with jocular or burlesque patches of the situation that occurs. People get used to it and take it as part of something normal, but in reality a problem arises, is that the media is educating a society based on disorder without a place to reflect on what actually happens. The demands of development of communications force the media to adhere to it and to highlight is the inclusion of audiences in the participation of sports programs to comment on a certain event of which you feel identified or part. The drawback is that although it is true there is participation but it is not appropriate and not through the correct means. The realization of a study like the one in this research is a very high economic cost, but that reflected in results is priceless. It seeks to understand how the elector or voter thinks in their different localities, because of which phrases or slogans generate mutual affinity, palpate the different needs that require sectors of the city, taking advantage of the advantages that the town has at the time of opting for the politics. Establishing bonds of communion between traditional media (radio, written press, television) and the use of a political communication is the end, also keeping in mind the differences that can be found. Politics in the country is a subject of great relevance, the dominant elites and the people are the main actors of the democratic system, since without them, and dictatorship and anarchy will prevail, violating the rights and principles of all. Faced with this and without giving it the necessary importance, the participants in honest work in every sense are those who come to power, in the same way you cannot be just an observer, having the resources and skills put to change the styles of government rooted in the country. For them it has been chosen to use methodology of qualitative and quantitative approach in where it was applied the due surveys to the inhabitants of the city of Ambato, in addition to one it interviews directed to the Director of programming of the radio in mention. In the harvesting made for the investigation in general context we can deduce that the women were the sex that dominates within the sample, in addition that the rank of dominant age is of between the 26 to 35 reaching the conclusion which the radial means are dominated by a hearing of adolescent and adult public, followed very of near a young public that includes between the 15 to 25 years, a little relegated is the hearing greater to 35 until the 45 years, that is to say, the radio divides equally a young hearing - adult with formed criterion. Within the activity to which she is dedicated in the sample we have students followed of housewives and people who dedicate to exert the law which they are the most dominant groups, with this is reflected that the radio is still considered like means of company for people who exert an activity that she requires of the same one. But we happened to the point in where we realize which the people who listen to radio in their majority do not know on the narratives, that is to say, that the radio listens to it empirically. Nevertheless at the time of establishing a listing of narratives people incline that the radios of the city of Ambato apply to the use of the narrative jokes, reaching the conclusion that the local radio chooses to entertain and to amuse its listeners, but emphasize in the investigation the fact that people do not know in her majority if the radio uses a specific format for its programming. In addition they show that they see of extreme importance that a program before leaving to the air must be planned of a correct way to avoid to fail and to obtain the rejection of the hearing still more when a competitive market within radial means exists, but they reach the conclusion who the radios if they make previous studies to define his programming and selection of target, maintains their position that is of extreme importance of the use of a correct language on the part of the speaker to go to its listeners. Although previously we presented that people are connected with the radial world, by means of her exigencies, the result includes in its majority that the people do not consider consuming assets but they have a favorite program at the time of tuning the radio, nevertheless do not feel an attachment or identification towards the radio that listens for that reason it is that the implementation of a manual of identity is recommended or marks of the even radio that can occur to know the best way and to implement communicational strategies that help to fortify the image. We further explored the subject in depth and correlated the variables to determine their cause and effect. Then, according to the results obtained, it can be said that the students perceive the existence of stereotypes of both beauty and experience in females and males, respectively, in the sports programming of the audiovisual media, which demonstrates the gender inequality, discrimination to professionals, violation of the Organic Law of Communication and gives at the same time, results such as academic desertions, high unemployment rates, programs with banal contents and the devaluation of the career.
