Item Más allá del Twitter: discursos y conflictos entre Lenin Moreno y Rafarel Correa sobre el asesinato de los periodistas del Diario El Comercio(Universida Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2020-03) Torres Moreno, David Omar; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoThis paper presents the opinions of former president Rafael Correa and the current president Lenin Moreno on the social network Twitter regarding the kidnapping and murder of the newspaper group of the newspaper El Comercio, which occurred in 2018 on the Colombian-Ecuadorian border. The interest and the need to inquire about this issue lies in the ways such as discourse, creates a public opinion space and the way these debates are organized in the political interest of the country. The desire to carry out this research is to explore the various connotations that these political figures gave to this issue; and thus analyze his speeches as constructs of a social reality and whose context covered in public interest. This research critically analyzes, the communicative practices existing in the Twitter network. In this way the research is divided into two spheres; the first part of a specialized bibliographic review within the field of discourse that will allow to know the ins and outs of power and manipulation that are found in the corpus of the discourses to analyze; The second part will use a qualitative approach whose technique to be used will be the discursive analysis for the corpus or object of study, in this case the tweets of greater conjuncture on the dates that disappeared until their subsequent murder. It was chosen to analyze the speeches on Twitter because it is the favorite social network for politicians in general since it allows effectiveness especially its 280 characters play an important role because the issuer has the need and obligation to rethink and compress their ideas being shorter When communicating, sometían to highlight is that once the message is published, it cannot be edited, so it is interesting and novel to analyze the discourse of a politician under this digital medium. It is therefore concluded that although short messages are transmitted, they hide power, manipulation, and a strong ideological burden that tries to persuade followers. This cognitive structure influences society who opts for one side or another depending on how the politician manages his speech generating repression or social discontent in this case.
