    The educommunication thanks to its theoretical-practical nature has been very useful to facilitate the processes of teaching learning in formal education at all levels, in conjunction with the use of the media for the transmission of educational content is well received by The different publics, mostly by the university community that motivated by learning a little more every day find in the educommunication the techniques and processes necessary to complement their training. With the easy access to the internet and web 2.0 tools, the education sector was able to transform itself using digital techniques that facilitate the participation of students with their peers, as well as to implement virtual workspaces that go beyond the classrooms of an educational institution , Facilitating the exchange of knowledge and contents that improve the quality of teaching and learning of educational institutions. The social networks, thanks to its popularity and its great influence in the real world of its users play an important role when offering virtual spaces dedicated to educational subjects, for that reason this research gives us two aspects, the first about which Is the criterion of the university community to use social networks, specifically YouTube as an appropriate platform to generate educational content, and the second of which is the interest of the students themselves who generate such content, becoming the protagonists of a critical education -reflexive and analyzed from his point of view in complement with the formal education of the university.
