Análisis sobre el uso del sexismo linguistico en la información de la sección La Patrulla del medio impreso el Ambateño

The human being is an entity capable of communicating and interacting being part of the causes and effects of society, for which humanity has seen the need to create an effective system of transmission of knowledge such as language, which not only serves as an entity of communication and transmission of information, but also through it human beings interpret the reality that surrounds them. In the use of language is the starting point to determine the thinking of people and what can generate the formation of gender stereotypes, therefore, the language is not sexist, as it has masculine, feminine and neutral, however, people are those who give it a sexist use. This contribution exhibits, in part, a reality about the use of sexist language that exists in print media and its relationship with the difficulties of generating an inclusive language by communication professionals. It gathers interesting criteria on topics inherent to language and gender, which point to an adequate use of language with different writing strategies that do not affect the traditional journalistic writing system, with which stereotypes, generics, marked forms of androcentrism and concealment of women can be reduced, among other aspects that generate sexist language, and thus comply with the precept established in the Constitution that dictates equality of opportunity for women and men. The journalistic notes of the La Patrulla section of the newspaper El Ambateño were identified, based on a quantitative analysis obtained from a bibliographic analysis and compilation. The purpose was to analyze and know the incidence of the use of sexist language in the printed media as a reference of the traditional media. From these results are concluded certain recommendations that give way to the proposal and that aspires to become a research tool for future analysis of the use of sexist language. Among what stands out as a fundamental point within these actions is the methodological model for case studies in texts, which aims to provide a series of steps to follow in an organized and systematic way that reflect the analysis of the text chosen by the researcher.
Análisis de narrativas comunicacionales en la producción de programa Wawakuna TV con respecto a la prevención del trabajo infantil en la ciudada de Latacunga: enero-junio 2018

The present investigation analyze The Journalistic Narratives of television programs taken place between the months of January and July, 2018 by Wawacuna TV, from TV MICC community medium which speaks topics about prevention of child’s labor in Latacunga with the objective of analyzing and valuing the state of this about children’s labor trouble, and its incidence in decision’s making of the poor families of the Cotopaxi’s Canton. For this study, it was taken as a reference: the boys, girls and adolescents that attend to the program of eradication of child labor the one that is promoted by the Economic and Social Inclusion Ministry (Mies) in Boliche Community from Latacunga. For generating information it was done semi-structured surveys with individual surveys to the boys, girls and adolescents and with a focal group that involved the participation of 35 under-aged people related to the problematic of child labor. The outcome reassured the importance that the community has in processes of social change, it showed the magnitude and the role that the massive communication mediums have in the transformation of society.
Análisis del proceso cultural de la cosmovisión Andina del Cantón Guamote

This research is a way of interpreting, guiding a series of ideas, senses around the social and natural context that surrounds men within the Andean Region, through the Worldview, as this ideal form has been called in the region. of the Andes. For this reason it is developed in Guamote, one of the ten cantons that make up the province of Chimborazo, is a population in which these elements of the Andean Cosmovision are present in the dialogue with contemporaneity. Its social composition, of indigenous prevalence. In addition, there are some symbolic markers of his Living Culture: The Carnival, whose central element is the designation of festive charges and gifts; The Semana Mayor, which includes a series of indigenous celebrations; The Fair of agricultural products, which appears as the largest in the province and still serves as a weekly place of intersection and exchange of survival elements. Aplicación del artículo 18 de la ley orgánica de comunicación en el ejercicio periodistico ánalisis de caso en las noticias emitidas por diario La Hora de Quito, en el periodo enero a junio 2017

This thesis was to know if the application of article 18 of the Organic Law of Communication limited the journalistic exercise in the news issued by newspaper La Hora de Quito in the period January 2017 to June 2017. With this premise, after the investigative process, It was concluded that the exercise of social communicators' work was limited. Many media and journalists were sanctioned. To this end, a technical watchdog body was formed, which controlled the exercise of communication rights, marking a before and after in democracy, from there the media was studied not with the desire to know the quality of information they issued but to punish them. Through these practices concepts such as freedom, independence and pluralism were violated, essential elements to promote democracy. This investigation reveals one of the most emblematic cases: that of Diario La Hora, a newspaper that was persecuted and punished on several occasions, due to the fact of publishing uncomfortable information for the shift regime or refusing to do so, in cases that it thought necessary. In addition, it was determined that through the application of article 18 of the LOC the means of communication were persecuted, as proof of this are the fines, calls for attention, replies, among other sanctions that were imposed on the newspaper. From this it is concluded that the application of the law affected the quality of the information contained in the news published by the newspaper La Hora de Quito, because the communicators feared sanctions This restriction of rights was possible to analyze, through the application of a survey to journalists and executives of the newspaper. The technique is contained in the quantitative methodology with which the field research process was formulated.
El cine: Forma de auto representación de los imaginarios colectivos Kichwa Otavalo

The present investigation is developed with the objective of analyzing the forms of representation of the filmmakers Kichwa Otavalo in his cinema through a process of identification of the characteristics of narrative, image and audio, observing the reflection of cultural identity through the creation and recreation of reality and the product of different creative and technical processes that develop. This research is based on the application of a qualitative methodology, from a process of reflection through documentary and bibliographic research, as well as the observation and analysis of six films made by Kichwa Otavalo directors and interviews to two filmmakers of the works that were the object of study of the present. Through these obtained data, self-representation can be established as a form of expression through cinema, either premeditatedly or through the spontaneity of the cultural context of the directors, knowing their concepts and application processes within the cinematographic language. say, the narrative, the image and the audio. This work has allowed us to generate an approach to what it means to make films from the multiple realities that exist among Ecuadorian filmmakers, in this case the Kichwa Otavalo cinema, knowing the symbolic elements that make up his works and the discursive delineation that his works imply creative and technical processes, so we propose the following question for the development of this research: Is this cinema produced to create processes of identity claims? And from a glance at the historical processes of Ecuador, we elucidate that the representation of the peoples tends to be a stereotype in the collective imagination, partializing a mistaken concept that revolves around the figure of the indigenous person who has been endowed with characteristics with which they do not identify themselves, that is to say, the wild, uncivilized and mystical indigenous. Does community cinema thus emerge as a necessary tool for self-representation as Kichwa Otavalo?
La comunicación como modelo de gestión en las asociaciones de la economía popular solidaria

This thesis aims to know the way in which associations belonging to the Popular and Solidarity Economy of the province of Cotopaxi, handle communication and what is the incidence of this discipline in its management model. Based on this understanding, a series of understandings is generated to develop a proposal, so that organizations can promote themselves and make themselves known among the different publics in order to market the goods, services or products they offer, at competitive prices. This is reflected in a proposal that is delivered to the directors of the associations, so that they can develop an adequate, orderly and effective work in the field of social communication. To achieve that, knowledge from corporate communication, social communication planning, as well as graphic design and other human knowledge disciplines were applied.

This research paper analyzes the evangelical discourse and socio-cultural changes that occur in the Compañía Labranza community belonging to the Colta canton. The study revolves around the main messages that are emitted in the ceremony or cult, they can be known through an informative table raised as a proposal, where what is said, what is said, what is not manifested and the intentionality are identified. Several statements are taken into account as a starting point as a qualitative investigation is sought in each message the "function manifests the consequences recognized and consciously sought by individuals, and by latent function that is not recognized or sought" (Marín, 1976). The results achieved allowed them to construct guidelines that contribute significantly to understand what is behind the evangelical discourse, intention of the message and the type of communication used.

The present investigation analyzes the discourse of the work plans presented by the assembly members elected by Tungurahua in the legislative elections of 2017. This document was delivered prior to its registration before the National Electoral Council (CNE), in the Provincial Delegation, which will serve to review and evaluate the contribution of each candidate to social development. For this study, development axes were used: health, education, social security and provision of basic services, which will be reviewed in a Critical Discourse Analysis matrix, where the level of the story, context and productive and ideological conditions of the enunciator. The qualitative research was based on critical reading mainly texts by Teun A. Van Dicjk and Eliseo Verón, which allowed to have a broad vision of development. In addition, the work plans of Lira Villalva, elected by the Alianza País movement, Ana Galarza and Fernando Callejas of the Suma - Creo alliance and finally Luis Fernando Torres of the Time of Change alliance - Christian Social Party; where the actions that these authorities will undertake once positioned are evident.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) serve the human being in all orders, in the educational field much more, since it is an activity that serves for the human being to survive, understand the environment and form an idea to live in this. However, the technologies, in the country, have not been taken advantage of in their real dimension. For this reason this research was proposed, in order to understand how the current world is in the province of Tungurahua, in order to propose from the Technical University of Ambato, a panorama of understanding about education and communication. From that point, certain solutions are proposed, from social networks, especially from Facebook, so that real teaching-learning processes are carried out, in order not to waste this new technology that serves people. This will achieve a social and educational change, not only linked to scientific and technological development, but rather, pointing to the paradigm shift in the way that the subjects (in this case the students) have to conceive the community, to education, to nature, as well as to its relationship with other digitalized realities. This research deals with the subject of the perception of the intercultural contents of the radio Jatari in the Kichwa nationality, which allows the analysis and evaluation of the radio as a strategic and privileged space for nationalities and peoples of Ecuador to exercise their right to communication, for being a medium based on orality, on the word, as well as low cost and high impact. The investigative study was considered important in the population of the Arajuno canton to determine their perception of the intercultural contents of the radio, their opinion about the work of the radio in terms of interculturality. In the same way, we worked with a radio interview allowed us to identify the problems that the radio is facing. The results obtained constituted the starting point to propose guidelines that contribute and serve as guiding referents for the achievement of an intercultural production from the principles of identity, historical memory and representativeness of nationalities.

The research project developed has as its theme: “The youth problems in the family, school and society, of the students of the educational unit of the Chimborazo Province of the Pallatanga canton”. On the other hand, the research sets out objectives within which The main objective is to apply the contents of the educational communication to identify youth problems in the family, school and society of the students of the educational unit “Province of Chimborazo”, in addition to contextualizing the variables of the research topic, as well how to know the level of involvement in youth social problems of both family, school and society, to propose a communication plan to mitigate the main problems detected based on the primary information collected, strengthening the methods of social communication to transmit a clear message to those involved, with information that benefits to all together; for which a continuous, permanent, systematic and organized process with planning and strategies that motivate the citizens to use them is required, without this being a straitjacket but an option to improve internal communication. To achieve the fulfillment of the research objectives, the methodology according to the qualitative modality approach has the critical objective nature because it criticizes the existing reality by identifying an investigative problem, in addition the quantitative modality is complemented with some statistical tools, such as Excel, spss and others that facilitate the tabulation of survey results to make this a monitored process based on real data of the current problem. Thus, based on the results, in this case alternative solutions to the identified problem are proposed, based on the diagnosis and needs contemplated, such as developing a practical guide for intercommunication workshops to mitigate youth problems in front of the family, the school and society

The present work aims to systematize a set of ideas regarding the juncture democratization of communication concept as a dynamic category, able to generate a dialogic and action field for the structures mutation. With the support of consecrated authors, we intend to reflect on the treatment given through history to the participation forms and communicative phenomena of community radios that, undoubtedly have hindered the construction making power decision of the human being, into terms of Paulo Freire, they have stoked a silence culture. When researching equivalent themes among the of Community Radios/Democratization of Communication principles, it generates an approximation to theoretical level with practical effects, it is evidencing that society intervention is viable through the construction of a collective conscience, to forge confidence and analogies on the need of a proposal for participatory and liberating communication that promotes social justice from the Shuar tribe of Pitirishka, through community radio.
El Rol de los medios de comunicación locales de la ciudad de Riobamba en la prevención de violencia de género

The present investigation addresses the issue of the prevention of gender violence and the role played by the printed media of the city of Riobamba. The media build the symbolic world in which human beings live, give shape and nomenclan what should be understood. That is why the classic function refers to the fact that they must educate, entertain and inform. However, newspapers, television, radio and Internet - sometimes - not only do not comply with these three statements but articulate a discourse and a message that can generate misunderstandings among subjects: put some over others or develop different perceptions about them. In the case of women, this is evident, due to the patriarchy rooted in society, as well as the fact that journalists hide, decontextualize and do not place in their real dimension information that, sooner or later, creates an atmosphere of non-existence of problems that are latently shown, but not visibilized correctly. In what has to do with the printed media of the city of Riobamba, the aforementioned is evident, because it hides the violence exerted against women and, moreover, no data are published regarding its contribution to society.
Toponimia de las Parroquias de la Provincia de Pastaza

Toponymy is in charge of the branch of the onomastics that studies the names of the place, a discipline where different fields of knowledge converge that interact in a complementary way, however they are not very widespread in the territories and many of its inhabitants do not know certain terms, it is so that the toponymy and the level of local knowledge of the parishes Puyo, Pomona, Canelos del cantón and Pastaza province, is the research topic that is supported by a descriptive, analytical, synthetic methodology, collect information from authors and experts of the zone, in addition to the surveys carried out on the inhabitants, as a contribution to the research, a communication medium is designed that allows to present the toponymic terms at the educational and cultural level.
