    Análisis de factibilidad para la creación de un área de colisiones para vehículos en la empresa Teojama Comercial S.A. sucursal Ambato

    The growth in the purchase of vehicles in the country brings with it several benefits and also risks, since when we acquire a vehicle we are exposed to suffer any damage or malfunction of this, so the company intends to implement an own collision area since at the moment it is making use of external workshops to meet the requirements of customers, taking the competition by agreement 70% of the bill and for the company 30%. The main objective of the research work is to implement a collision area in the company Teojama Comercial S.A. Ambato branch, through a feasibility analysis for which a market, technical, economic, financial, administrative and environmental aspects study was carried out, in addition to a canvas model that details the benefits of implementing the area, offering the service of straightening and painting for multibrand vehicles, complying with quality standards and shorter delivery time. The economic and financial study allowed the analysis of profitability indicators such as NPV with a value of $22,632.30, which is greater than zero and therefore is determined to be profitable, the IRR with 19% and an investment recovery period of 2.77 years, an approximate of 2 years and 9 months, thus having the viability of this project, seeking to generate employment and higher profits for the company. Finally, a canvas model was created to summarize relevant aspects for the implementation of the collision area, such as customer segmentation, customer relationships, channels, revenue sources, value proposition, key activities, key resources, key partners and cost structure.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos como base para la mejora de la producción en la empresa Máster Fibra

    This research project was developed at Master Fiber company and starts from the need of the company to standardize fiberglass parts manufacturing processes, among this bus dashboard production, among which different problems as unnecessary movements, excessive travel distances and bottlenecks within production stand out are arised. A study of bus dashboard model with the highest demand manufacturing process was carried out, which was obtained from the company's sales history and ABC graph application, in addition, flowcharts, analytical diagrams and route diagrams that facilitate understanding of production process. Time and motion study was carried out to obtain standard time of productive activities in manufacturing process of selected board with ABC graph, later, production capacity of company was calculated, this for the purpose of Suggest process improvements. As a result, standard time of all the activities that are part of production process of the bus dashboard with the highest demand during the year 2021 was obtained, with this information calculation of production capacity at company and lines balancing was developed in this process, this the optimal theoretical number of workstations was determined, and a redesign of the production area was developed, to reduce the process transfer distances. With the results, the current situation of the bus board manufacturing process with highest demand within the Master Fiber company was made clearer, information that will be very useful for the approach of improvements within the company.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos de los procesos de mantenimiento de las casetas en el taller de guías y montajes de los trenes 1 y 2 de la empresa Novacero S.A. planta Lasso

    The following research project deals with the study of times and movements in the maintenance processes of the rolling stands in the guide and assembly workshop of production trains 1 and 2 of the company NOVACERO S.A. Lasso plant in order to standardize processes, reduce times and movements, in addition to seeking improvement situations in maintenance activities; the problem lies in the fact that the maintenance processes are not completely documented and in the non-existence of records of the execution times of the activities. This makes it difficult to plan maintenance stops for production trains, as well as reducing the chances of discovering opportunities for improvement in the work method, transfers or plant layout. Through a study of times and movements, using the Westinghouse system for the assessment of the pace of work and the allocation of supplements according to the International Labor Organization (ILO), a plant distribution is proposed for the workshop of guides and assemblies through the SLP method through which to optimize times and distances in the execution of the maintenance processes of rolling stands. The result was a 2.62% reduction in the execution time of the maintenance process and a 65.56% reduction in the total distance traveled within the workshop. Changed the distribution type from a fixed and process layout in the current distribution to a line process layout in the proposed distribution. In addition, a manual of processes and procedures aimed at standardizing the maintenance processes of rolling booths was generated with the purpose of guiding the operators in the execution of maintenance tasks.

    he purpose of this research project is to carry out a study of times and movements in the production process of the Pico Tannery for the treatment of Wet Blue leather, with the objective of improving the organization's production process. The diagnosis of the current situation of the production process and of the various operational activities shows that there are processing times that can be optimized through the standardization of operations and the reduction of distances traveled by workers and material. The study of times and movements through cumulative timing is carried out in order to minimize and optimize the time of the activities for the treatment of skins in Pico Tannery. Finally, at a global level, through the development of the proposals proposed with the application of the SMED methodology, an approximate improvement of 8.76% in productivity levels is achieved, while by applying the second improvement proposal (SMED + Plant Redistribution) the production capacity increases by approximately 20.34%.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos en el área de confección para mejoramiento de los procesos productivos de la empresa Impactex

    El trabajo se realizó en la corporación Impactex, cuya necesidad es estandarizar sus procesos productivos entre ellos la línea de confección de ropa interior para hombre, dentro de la cual se abordan diferentes problemáticas, de los cuales destacan cuellos de botella, movimientos innecesarios y largas distancias de transporte, al estandarizar los procesos se obtiene un mejor control del proceso. Se realiza el análisis del proceso productivo encargado de confeccionar el producto de mayor demanda el cual se obtiene mediante la aplicación del gráfico ABC. El diagrama de flujo, diagrama analítico y diagrama de recorrido nos da a entender de manera global todo el proceso de producción. Además, se realiza un estudio de tiempos y movimientos para determinar el tiempo estándar de cada una de las actividades que conforman la línea de producción del producto de mayor demanda, así como el cálculo de la capacidad de producción y el balanceo de líneas, con la finalidad de proponer mejoras. Como resultado se obtuvo los tiempos de producción estándar de cada una de las actividades que conforman el proceso de producción de ropa interior para hombres de mayor demanda, con los cuales se calcula la capacidad de producción y el balanceo de la línea de producción, el cual determina el número idóneo de operarios además de un rediseño de la línea de producción para aumentar la producción de la empresa. Los resultados obtenidos nos dan un claro panorama del estado actual del proceso de producción de ropa interior para hombre de mayor demanda los cuales sirven de base para el planteamiento de mejoras dentro de corporación Impactex.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos en la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Chibuleo Ltda.

    The study of times and movements is carried out in the credit granting process at Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Chibuleo Ltda., with the purpose of optimizing and improving the flexibility of activities and tasks. Through direct observation and a meeting with the agency manager, the current situation and the level of operations achieved in the last months are known. Based on the initial diagnosis, information was gathered and represented in flow charts, SIPOC and flowcharts, which were made possible through field visits to the institution. To obtain the necessary data, time measurements were taken by timing the activities, considering the movements and working conditions of the workers. In the development of the project, shortcomings and the bottleneck that strictly affect the process were identified, and then the standard times of the activities were determined. Through the use of the VSM diagram, the operational flow was examined with the purpose of selecting the Lean Manufacturing tools, thus improving the flexibility in the work flow and the tasks performed by the workers on a daily basis, obtaining an improvement percentage of 48.27% in the process, which is even reflected in the total cost, since it was reduced from $ 176.73 to $ 154.80, thus increasing the profitability of the financial institution.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos en las áreas de atención al cliente de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Oscus Ltda

    En el presente proyecto se realiza un estudio de tiempos y movimientos en las actividades operativas de atención al cliente de la Cooperativa de ahorro y Crédito Oscus Ltda. Este estudio se realiza con el fin de identificar las actividades no productivas en las áreas de atención al cliente, mediante la utilización de registro de actividades, flujogramas del proceso, diagrama de recorrido, estudio de tiempos y la simulación mediante el software Flexsim. La Cooperativa cuenta con una variedad de servicios prestados en el área de asesores y cajeros, por lo que se realiza un análisis con el diagrama de Pareto con el fin de identificar los servicios que agregan valor a la cooperativa y poder optimizarlos. Este análisis fue realizado con los datos históricos que posee la cooperativa en cuanto a la demanda registrada en el primer trimestre del año 2019. Con la ayuda de este análisis se obtuvo que, para el área de cajeros los retiros forman parte del 80% de mayor demanda, sin embargo, se consideró estudiar los depósitos en el área de cajeros debido al interés de la cooperativa y la del investigador. Por otro lado, para el área de asesores el 80% está conformado por los servicios de información de crédito, depósito a plazo, apertura de cuentas y saldos/transferencias. Para el estudio de tiempos se utilizó flujogramas de procesos con el fin de identificar las actividades operativas de atención al cliente mismo que ayudo a determinar los movimientos realizados por las personas involucradas en cada servicio de atención. Con la ayuda de la Tabla de la General Eléctric para el número de ciclos que se debe estudiar, se procedió con el estudio de tiempos mismo que se realizó de dos maneras; servicios con espera y sin espera. Con los antecedentes mencionados se propuso mejoras en los procesos de atención al cliente como; depósitos y retiros, depósito a plazo y saldos/transferencias, quitando actividades que pueden ser reemplazadas por una metodología diferente aplicada a los procesos de atención al cliente.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para el mejoramiento de los procesos de producción de la empresa Carrocerías Los Andes

    After pandemic that paralyzed Ecuador in 2020. Carrocerias Los Andes suffered a transformation process in its facilities and work conditions, which has led to various deficiencies, such as improvised work, orders delay. standard production times ignorance, and, generally, organization low productivity. Therefore, it was proposed to develop a time and motion study to get a production processes improvement. A documentary and field were used in the methodology. Where. bibliographic review. interview, observation and recruit were used to collect the data on operational processes. At the same time, timekeeper time study was used to establish standard time for the elaboration for the flagship product and the circuit diagram to analyze the micro movements of bottleneck processes. Thus, it was concluded that production macroprocess is made up of Preparation of material. Structured. Reception and preparation of chassis. Marriage. Lined. Painting and Finishes processes, which are executed in the different physical areas of the plant. Besides this, a total standard time of 732 hours. 29 minutes and 21 seconds was established for the production of the "Sbelto-City-Urban" urban bus, under current conditions. In this sense, Phase 2 Structured and Exterior-interior Putty were identified as bottlenecks, therefore, two proposals for improvement were raised. First, the Manual of Processes and Procedures that characterizes and specifies all the operational, strategic and support processes that the organization needs to correct 77.78% of its deficiencies. Second, the application of equipment, materials and labor in the two main bottlenecks detected, to reduce total standard time for the production of "Sbelto-Ciudad-Urbano" by 115 hours. 39 minutes and 49 seconds.

    Estudio de tiempos y movimientos para la mejora de la productividad del área de post cosecha en la empresa Rosas del Corazón–Finca Dos,

    The main objective of this research is to develop a time and motion study for productivity improvement in post-harvest area in Rosas del Corazón-Finca Dos company through the collection of information for current situation of company analysis and the post-harvest operating processes in bouquets elaboration. The first stage corresponded mainly to the collection of company data; which was developed through techniques application such as observation, interview and critical analysis of the data collected; In turn, among the activities that were contemplated in this stage, there was the description of productive process and identification of the study elements. For the fulfillment of second stage, quantitative data were processed and analyzed through calculation tools. Consequently, parameters such as performance index, supplements, cycle time, standard time and production capacity were evaluated for each of the processes, identifying the bottleneck. Consequently, the packing process is the process that currently sets the pace of work with a theoretical production capacity of 6017 stems during the working day; and, the standard time to process a batch (300 stems) is 251.82 minutes The third stage focused on a proposal development based on recommendations of the International Labor Organization and the efficient use of posts and stations within the postharvest physical area, reducing times, movements and eliminating the bottleneck in the harvesting process. post-harvest, obtaining a new theoretical capacity of 7,224 stems without requiring a large investment. The results obtained were analyzed considering the current process and the improvement proposal proposed in this research project; Finally, the behavior and flow of process, its inputs and outputs were analyzed through the FlexSim software.

    The present investigation was carried out in the company I.D.TEX, which needs to standardize the production processes in the manufacture of shirts, due to the fact that its activities are carried out empirically, which is why there are several problems such as: bottlenecks, unnecessary movements, and long transportation distances; for this reason, with the standardization of the production processes we sought to improve the level of competitiveness of the company. First of all, it was necessary to carry out a diagnosis of the processes that make up the shirt production line, being necessary to know the product with the highest demand using the ABC methodology; therefore, in the flow chart and in the analytical diagram, the entire production process of executive style shirts can be observed in a global manner, after which the times and movements were determined to find the standard time of each of the activities that make up the production line of the product with the highest demand, as well as the calculation of the production capacity, with the purpose of proposing improvements. The results obtained made it possible to know the current condition of the company I.D.TEX, and for the improvement proposal, a procedures manual was established that will be useful for future employees.

    Exposición laboral al sulfuro de hidrógeno en la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales de la empresa TEIMSA

    El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Exposición laboral al sulfuro de hidrógeno en la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales de la empresa TEIMSA” registra cinco capítulos, los mismos que se detallan a continuación: En el primer capítulo se especifica el problema y la causa raíz que genera la presencia del sulfuro de hidrógeno en la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales de la empresa TEIMSA, ya que este compuesto, al ser un elemento gaseoso y que al ser liberado en el ambiente se lo puede distinguir con facilidad por su olor característico a huevo podrido; este gas al estar en presente en altas concentraciones en el medio laboral puede ser considerado como una sustancia de alto riesgo que afecta a los trabajadores provocando diferentes tipos de enfermedades profesionales y a su vez constituyendo una afección en el desempeño óptimo de los trabajadores de la empresa reduciendo sus valores de productividad; de igual manera se establece que el objetivo principal es evaluar el grado de exposición laboral al sulfuro de hidrógeno. El segundo capítulo hace referencia a los antecedentes investigativos, es decir, a algunos trabajos previos que se relacionan con la presencia del sulfuro de hidrógeno y qué se ha hecho al respecto para mitigar este problema; de igual manera, se detalla la teoría que permite la comprensión y asimilación de los conceptos necesarios para desarrollar el proyecto de investigación y efectivizar los objetivos planteados. En el tercer capítulo se explica paso a paso la metodología que se utiliza para determinar el grado de concentración de sulfuro de hidrógeno en la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales; se especifican las actividades a realizar, las metodologías empleadas para la recolección de la información las mismas que permiten cumplir con la propuesta de solución. En el cuarto capítulo se efectiviza la propuesta de solución, para esto se recurre a la identificación de los procesos inherentes al tratamiento de aguas residuales, en donde se analiza la presencia de las fuentes emisoras de sulfuro de hidrógeno con el fin de conocer los puntos estratégicos en donde se realiza las mediciones de este gas. De igual manera se elabora la matriz de riesgos químicos utilizando el formato del Ministerio de Relaciones Laborales del Ecuador, el mismo que permite determinar que la presencia de este gas en el medio laboral genera un riesgo significativo tanto para el personal operativo de la planta de tratamiento como para los demás trabajadores que laboran en la empresa. El promedio de la concentración diaria del sulfuro de hidrógeno en la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de la empresa TEIMSA es de 1,03 ppm. Para este caso se verifica que los valores superan al TVL – TWA establecido por la ACGIH (American Conference of Gobvemmental Industrial Hygienists) la cual establece como límite de 1,0 ppm En el quinto capítulo se establecen las conclusiones y recomendaciones que se generan al finalizar el trabajo investigativo para lo cual se expresa que para reducir el riesgo de exposición en el medio transmisor, se realiza planos de reubicación del laboratorio de la planta de tratamiento, con instalaciones y equipos adecuaciones y necesarios que garanticen que el personal operativo realice sus actividades diarias en un lugar con aire renovado y dentro de los valores estándares permisibles por la ACGIH, de igual manera se actúa sobre la fuente emisora, reemplazando el uso del ácido sulfúrico por el ácido fórmico para el control de ph en el tanque biológico. Una medida de control en la fuente receptora, en este caso el personal, se dota de los equipos de protección necesaria como botas, guastes de nitrilo, mascarillas con filtros para vapores orgánicos, entre otros detallados en presente trabajo de investigación. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This research work has five chapters, which are detailedbelow: the first chapter specifies the problem and the causeroot generated by the presence of hydrogen sulfide insewage treatment plant the company TEIMSA industrial,since this compound, being a gaseous element and that tobe released into the environment can it be distinguishedeasily by their characteristic rotten egg smell; This gas to bepresent in high concentrations in the working environmentcan be considered as a substance of high risk which affectsworkers causing different types of occupational diseases andat the same time constituting a condition in the performanceoptimum of the workers of the company by reducing theirproductivity values; Likewise establishes that the mainobjective is to assess the degree of occupational exposure tohydrogen sulphide. The second chapter makes reference to the researchbackground, i.e. to some previous work related to thepresence of hydrogen sulphide and what had been done inthis regard to mitigate this problem; Similarly, details thetheory that allows the understanding and assimilation of theconcepts needed to develop the research project and makethe goals. The third chapter explains step by step the methodologyused to determine the degree of concentration of hydrogensulphide in the waste water treatment plant; Specifies theactivities to perform, the methodologies used for thecollection of information which allow compliance with theproposed solution. In the fourth chapter, the proposed solution, is effective forthis use the identification of the processes inherent towastewater treatment, where the presence of the hydrogensulfide sources is analyzed in order to know the strategicpoints where is this gas measurements. In the same wayprepares matrix of chemical risks using the format of theMinistry of labour relations of Ecuador, which allows you todetermine that the presence of this gas in the workplacecreates a significant risk for staff operating the treatmentplant as to other workers working in the company. Theaverage daily concentration of hydrogen sulphide in thecompany TEIMSA wastewater treatment plant is 1.03 ppm. Inthis case check that values outweighed the TVL - TWAestablished by ACGIH (American Conference ofGobvemmental Industrial Hygienists) which set as the limitof 1.0 ppm. The fifth chapter establishes the conclusions andrecommendations that are generated at the end of theinvestigative work for which it is expressed that to reducethe risk of exposure in the average transmitter, held flatrelocation of the laboratory of the plant of treatment, withfacilities and equipment adjustments and necessary toensure that operating personnel perform their dailyactivities in a place with renewed air and within the valuespermissible standards by the ACGIH, of equal way it acts onthe source, replacing the use of sulphuric acid by the formicacid to control ph in biological tank. A measure of control inreceiving source, in this case the staff, is endowed of theprotective equipment required as boots, you guastes nitrile, masks with filters for organic vapors, among others detailedin this research work.

    The present investigation project is intended to manage the processes in the production area in order to improve the work performance in the textile company EDY SANCHEZ SPORT, because the main problem it presents has to do with the fact that its workers perform activities without an adequate standard, therefore the objective pursued is to facilitate in a clear and orderly manner the documented information, being this a measure that allows to standardize the activities of the company, adding value and continuous improvement to meet the requirements of customers. With the application of the bibliographic research the knowledge for the management by processes was determined and established, also with a field research the current situation was analyzed with the survey of the processes resulting in necessary information for the elaboration of the manuals of procedures for the correct realization of the processes for the elaboration of the product sweater of the Educational Unit La Inmaculada of the sports line that allows the company to know and improve the procedures from the selection of the raw material to the storage of the products for its commercialization, satisfying the demands of its clients. Therefore, it is proposed to develop a procedures manual so that there is an order of documented and structured information with responsibilities, inputs, outputs and resources used, as well as indicators to measure the performance of the processes of the company, and also serve as a tool for consultation, guidance, training and initiation of staff.

    Gestión de residuos sólidos en la empresa I.M.ESCO.

    La presente investigación se centró en la gestión de residuos sólidos en el área de producción de la empresa I.M.ESCO, la cual se especializa en la fabricación de equipos de transporte pesado, tales como volquetas, buses, remolques, semirremolques y equipos de construcción, como carretillas. Dada su naturaleza comercial, la empresa genera diversos tipos de residuos, entre ellos recortes de metal, fibra de vidrio, partículas de metal, cartón, plástico, virutas metálicas, escoria de soldadura, material de lleno, lijas, remaches, cables, conexiones, guaipe, envases y recipientes de productos químicos. Se llevó a cabo una recopilación de información interna con el objetivo de comprender la situación actual del manejo de residuos en la empresa, considerando su actividad principal de fabricación de carrocerías pesadas. El análisis incluyó la evaluación de riesgos laborales, lo que condujo a la elaboración de un manual de gestión de residuos sólidos. La evaluación de riesgos laborales, basada en el código CRETIB y la guía técnica colombiana GTC-45, proporcionó una comprensión integral de los peligros asociados al área de producción. Este manual ofrece pautas detalladas y medidas prácticas para reducir la generación de residuos y asegurar su disposición final de manera adecuada. Al incorporar estrategias proactivas, se busca no solo minimizar la cantidad de residuos sino también prevenir impactos adversos en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores. Este manual también proporciona directrices para evitar cualquier impacto perjudicial en la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores.

    Gestión de riesgos mecánicos para la prevención de accidentes laborales en la empresa Davmotor

    The present investigation work was developed in Davmotor factory, a place located in Tungurahua, specifically at 15 Km in North Pan-American highway in Ambato city, this company is dedicated to the manufacturing and construction of vehicle bodyworks. This study is based on mechanical risks management, since insecure work conditions are related to the operation of equipment, machines and tools, which could generate a source of danger with a huge potential to generate damages in human resources health. The risk analysis is predicated in the identification of sources of risks and a risk estimation, thus the first one was held through the application of ART sheets that is based on analysis of the activities in 12 workstations and the identification of 18 mechanical risk factors, while, in order to get the risk estimation the author used the methodology on the Criteria Matrix PGV, that determinates quantitatively, on probability, gravity and vulnerably terms if the categorized risk is a moderate, important or an inadmissible risk. Finally, the mechanic risk valuation was done by Willian Fine methodology, which determinate in a quantitative way the degree of danger based on the product of probabilistic variables, such as: a consequence level, probability and exposition. According to this study, on the 12 workstations evaluated, a total of 90 risk factors were identified, whose 44 were tagged as moderated and a GP value smaller than 85, while 24 are important risks with a GP value biggest than 85 and smaller than 200, 22 are inadmissible risks with a GP biggest than 200, the last ones are presented in the operative process only, and those are related with the equipment, machines and tools management, that is why to get the risk control a preventive action is proposed which is based on the risk instruction and the prevention methods through a secure procedure manual.

    Gestión por procesos en el área de tapizado de asientos para buses interprovinciales en la empresa “Miviltech”

    Industrial companies face critical problems due to the excess waste generated in their production processes. The goal of curricular integration is to determine appropriate waste management processes in MIVILTECH, a car manufacturing company, to keep excess waste from being produced during the manufacture of transportation seats. The methodology began with gathering information about the current state of the production plant, where four necessary processes for manufacturing heavy vehicle seats were identified: cutting, fiberglass, upholstery, and structures. Through activity classification methodology, it was determined that 11 activities did not add value to the company, while 4 activities could be optimized. By implementing improvements to these activities, the production plant was able to optimize the production process by 16.95% A procedures manual is a tool that facilitates the training of operators for their workstations, providing support on the methods that are appropriate for carrying out their important roles in their assigned areas.

    ABSTRACT Currently, many organizations worldwide are involved in highly competitive markets; environments that force organizations to improve their processes to achieve good results or survive in the market. To be successful, organizations must manage their processes, activities and resources efficiently, which has caused the use of new tools or methodologies such as process management, because it is aimed at customer satisfaction. The study is based on the development of process management in the productive operations of the Montalvina microenterprise and its main purpose is the standardization of the productive processes of artisanal beer, for which it was essential to carry out a survey of these processes. Currently, the microenterprise does not have a standard time frame for the activities of the production process, which causes unproductive time and inefficiency in the processes. With the process management, it was possible to determine time standards in production, in addition to producing procedure manual, which the most relevant information was detailed: objectives, scope, persons responsible, good manufacturing practices and, above all, the description of the activities to be carried out by the operators, in order to avoid variability in the final product, guaranteeing its quality and customer satisfaction.

    An effective process management implementation in an industry is essential for productivity levels improving, focusing on guidelines which add value to processes, products or services and promote continuous improvement in operations, for customer satisfaction level increasing by beating their expectations and requirements. Through this research development, a process management model has been proposed for the fresh cheese production line at "Lácteos MENTUR" company. The process standardization absence and the employee’s frequent rotation have an impact on the work organization, resulting in production failures and loss of resources for the company. In this study, information was gathered on production process for fresh cheese manufacturing. Processes, subprocesses, and tasks carried out in all phases of production were identified, from reception to storage of the final product, and a process map was drawn up to get a better view of the current state of the organization. Based on these data, a procedures manual was proposed to establish an operations standardization for the fresh cheese production; this manual will not only help to improve the company's efficiency and productivity but will also be a guide for future studies and a tool to train and induct new employees with the purpose of optimizing resources and increasing productivity in general.

    Manufactura esbelta para los desperdicios en la empresa Impactex

    Durante la realización de este trabajo investigativo, se realiza una investigación bibliográfica sobre los fundamentos del Análisis ABC, conceptos y metodología para la determinación del producto de mayor impacto en las industrias, además se investiga lo referente a la Manufactura Esbelta y sus herramientas, asimismo se indaga sobre una de las bases fundamentales del Lean como son los siete desperdicios, de manera que se pueda encontrar la causa raíz de los problemas para un posterior análisis y proponer oportunidades de mejora, la importancia de la realización de este proyecto radica en documentar conceptos de las herramientas y métodos a utilizar, de manera que se pueda proponer la aplicación de las más adecuadas al proceso de elaboración del producto que más ingresos genera a la empresa. El trabajo se enfoca en determinar la existencia de los siete desperdicios en el proceso productivo de modelo de mayor impacto, para lo cual se utiliza la metodología de Observación de campo elaborando un Check List como herramienta para la comprobar y documentar la existencia de los despilfarros teniendo en cuenta si se tiene documentación que evidencie lo encontrado, tras la aplicación de la herramienta de observación de campo se evidencia la existencia de cuatro de las siete mudas tales como: movimientos innecesarios, demoras, exceso de transporte y reprocesos por productos defectuosos. Las limitaciones encontradas a lo largo de la elaboración de la investigación se encuentran en que los métodos y propuesta no son aplicados, sino más bien una guía de aplicación que será analizada por la empresa. Como resultado se muestra la manera, en que se debe aplicar las herramientas 5’S, Kanban, Control visual, SMED, Jidoka y Evento Kaizen de manera que se ajusten a las necesidades del proceso productivo y se pueda eliminar los desperdicios en la producción de bóxer de algodón estampado BH 1060.

    Mejora de la producción en la empresa florícola Utopia Farms UTF S.A.S. en la finca Esmeralda Sun con herramientas de manufactura ajustada

    Nowadays, companies are facing market challenges, which forces them to identify techniques and production methods that allow them to reduce unproductive times, improving quality and reducing costs. In this sense, the objective of this research is to develop a proposal to improve production in the post-harvest area of the Esmeralda Sun farm by applying lean manufacturing tools. To this end, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out, with a bibliographic and field design to define the current situation of the company. The results obtained from the initial diagnosis have shown that the production cost is 0.41 dollars for each stem in a time of 31.52 seconds, so the 5's, Poka-Yoke and SMED tools have been selected as the best option to reduce production times and quality in the company through the implementation of appropriate policies in the production process. At the end of the research it has been concluded that lean manufacturing tools have a positive effect, which is to improve productivity by minimizing losses in manufacturing systems and maximizing value creation in the product.
