Abstract

The main objective of this research project is to analyze the influence of visual intelligence bits on vocabulary expansion in children aged 1 to 2 years. To achieve this, four specific objectives were established: to theoretically ground the use of these resources in children's vocabulary development, to diagnose the vocabulary level prior to the intervention, to assess the changes in vocabulary after their application, and to propose educational activities based on these visual stimuli. The research was conducted under the positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach, using a pre-experimental design. It combined bibliographic documentary research with field research, where a sample of 20 children (aged 1 to 2 years) was observed interacting with visual intelligence bits. Data was collected through a rating scale. The results indicated that visual intelligence bits have a positive impact on children's vocabulary expansion, improving areas such as image recognition and visual memory. Although aspects like pronunciation and sentence formation require more time, a significant increase was observed in the children's ability to recognize and name new words. In conclusion, visual intelligence bits are an effective educational tool for promoting language development in young children, highlighting the importance of a continuous and structured approach, proposing activities that encourage dynamic and progressive learning, which ensures the retention of new words and concepts.
