Los estilos de crianza y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de Educación General Básica Media de la Unidad Educativa “Honduras” de la ciudad de Ambato

Abstract
El presenta trabajo de investigación consistió en analizar la influencia de los estilos de
crianza y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de básica media. Fue de nivel
exploratorio y descriptivo, ya que se trasladó al lugar de los hechos y a la vez fue
caracterizada. En cuanto a la modalidad de trabajo fue bibliográfica, documental y de
campo, ya que se necesitó información de varias fuentes que ayudaron a conceptualizar
las variables, se requirió el registro de notas de los estudiantes, además, se investigó en el
lugar de los hechos. Igualmente, la metodología fue cualitativa, ya que toma la
información más relevante de los fenómenos estudiados, donde se los analizó. Para
cumplir con los objetivos planteados se aplicó dos encuestas para estudiantes y padres de
familia con preguntas de 22 y 34 respectivamente, además, fueron valoradas con la escala
de Likert, en lo cual tuvieron 15 minutos para responder. Para la entrevista se utilizó un
guión de entrevista, las cuales tenían 5 preguntas referentes a los estilos de crianza y
rendimiento académico. Y para investigar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes se
necesitó el registro de notas. Se trabajo con toda la población de 40 estudiantes, 40 padres
y 3 docentes, que en total fueron 83. Entre los hallazgos más importantes se reveló que
existe influencia de los estilos de crianza en el rendimiento académico, ya que los
estudiantes que presentan una crianza democrática alcanzan los aprendizajes requeridos,
cumpliendo con la escala cualitativa y cuantitativa del ministerio de educación.
Description
The present research work consisted of analyzing the influence of parenting styles and
the academic performance of middle school students. It was exploratory and descriptive,
since it was carried out at the place of the facts and at the same time it was characterized.
As for the work modality, it was bibliographic, documentary and field, since information
from several sources was needed to help conceptualize the variables, the recording of
students' notes was required, in addition, it was investigated at the place of the facts.
Likewise, the methodology was qualitative, since it takes the most relevant information
from the phenomena studied, where they were analyzed. In order to meet the objectives
set, two surveys were applied to students and parents with questions of 22 and 34
respectively, in addition, they were evaluated with the Likert scale, in which they had 15
minutes to answer. An interview script was used for the interview, which had 5 questions
referring to parenting styles and academic performance. And to investigate the academic
performance of the students, a record of grades was needed. We worked with the entire
population of 40 students, 40 parents and 3 teachers, which totaled 83. Among the most
important findings, it was revealed that there is an influence of parenting styles on
academic performance, since students who present a democratic upbringing achieve the
required learning, complying with the qualitative and quantitative scale of the Ministry
of Education.
