| dc.description | The textile sector contributes 7% to the country's GDP, making it the sector that generates the most employment, with 125,000 jobs nationwide. This research aims to analyze content marketing and physical merchandising in the textile sector of the city of Ambato, directly evaluating the sector's SMEs. These include: JHONALEX, HACHECE, FEMAR'S, BRYMAY, D'JOMARS, JOHNLI'S, FERCHOS'S, and HERCRISS; all of which are dedicated to garment manufacturing and sales in Ambato. The methodology employed a deductive and quantitative approach, with a descriptive, cross-sectional study. The following methods were used for data collection: bibliographic, documentary, and field research. The data collection technique was a survey, distributed virtually to 359 participants, who are part of the SMEs' internal and external client base. The results indicated a moderate, significant, positive relationship between the two study variables: content marketing and physical merchandising. Statistical analysis using SPSS software, along with the KMO and Bartlett validation tests, yielded a significance level of 0.920, confirming the reliability of the data. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient supported the hypothesis: Digital content marketing management needs to be supported by physical point-of-sale management, represented by merchandising. It is concluded that content marketing and physical merchandising are strategies that should be implemented together to achieve both physical and digital brand recognition. | |
