| dc.description | La enfermería es una profesión dedicada al cuidado, la atención y a fomentar la salud integral de la familia, por lo cual se tiene la perspectiva de que el profesional sanitario debe manejar el nivel de estrés desde su formación académica y las prácticas clínicas, para que en un futuro sepan lidiar diversas situaciones de emergencia y aprendan a disminuir el estrés ocasionado por la carga laboral. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue identificar los factores que influyen en el desempeño de las prácticas clínicas en estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. El estudio de la investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, de alcance descriptivo y cohorte transversal, para lo cual se encuestó a 213 estudiantes pertenecientes al periodo mayo 2024 – setiembre 2024, que realizan sus prácticas clínicas y que estuvieron legalmente matriculados en la Carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. A partir de los hallazgos encontrados es necesario identificar que la “falta de competencia”, “contacto con el sufrimiento”, “impotencia e incertidumbre”, “no controlar la relación con el enfermo”, “dañarse en la relación con el enfermo”, “el enfermo busca una relación afectiva” y la “sobrecarga” presentaron una media >1,50 que corresponde a estrés leve. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Nursing is a profession dedicated to the care, attention and promotion of the integral health of the family, so it is considered that the health professional should manage the level of stress from their academic training and clinical practices, so that in the future they know how to deal with various emergency situations and learn to reduce the stress caused by the workload. The general objective of this research was to identify the factors that influence the performance of clinical practices in nursing students at the Technical University of Ambato. The research study had a quantitative approach, nonexperimental design, descriptive scope and cross-sectional cohort, for which 213 students were surveyed during the period May 2024 – September 2024, who perform their clinical practices and who were legally enrolled in the Nursing Career of the Technical University of Ambato. From the findings it is necessary to identify that “lack of competence”, “contact with suffering”, “helplessness and uncertainty”, “not controlling the relationship with the patient”, “harming oneself in the relationship with the patient”, “the patient seeks an affective relationship” and “overload” presented a mean >1.50 which corresponds to mild stress. | |
