Abstract
Two-dimensional figures are present in everything we see, from the simplest objects to
the most complex figures, so it is of utmost importance that, from our earliest ages, we
can distinguish, classify and understand them so that we can Let's have a much broader
outlook in our daily lives.
The general objective is to analyze the use of two-dimensional figures in the association
of the shapes of figures in the environment in children aged 4 to 5 years. The methodology
has a quantitative approach and is bibliographic, field and exploratory in nature. The
population is represented by 20 students from the Initial Sublevel II of the “Andino”
Educational Unit. The results obtained from the observation sheet are divided into two
takes where the first showed the initial level of knowledge of two-dimensional figures
and where the second take helped to evaluate the level of identification, knowledge and
assimilation of two-dimensional figures in the shapes of objects in the environment with
the help of didactic strategies and finally an analysis was made before and after the use
of two-dimensional figures as playful strategies to help the association of the shapes of
objects in the environment, in conclusion, knowing and understanding geometric figures
in a concrete way helps children to a better visual assimilation in a more abstract way in
children from 4 to 5 years old with the help of visual stimuli such as pictograms, images,
etc.

Las figuras bidimensionales están presentes en todo lo que tenemos a la vista, desde los
objetos más simples, hasta las figuras más complejas, por lo que es de suma importancia
que, desde nuestras edades más tempranas, podamos distinguirlas, clasificarlas y
entenderlas para que así tengamos un panorama mucho más amplio en nuestra vida
cotidiana. El objetivo general es analizar el uso de las figuras bidimensionales en la
asociación de las formas de las figuras del entorno en niños de 4 a 5 años. La metodología
tiene un enfoque cuantitativo y de carácter bibliográfico, de campo y exploratorio. La
población está representada por 20 alumnos del Subnivel Inicial II de la Unidad Educativa
“Andino”. Los resultados obtenidos de la ficha de observación está dividida en dos tomas
en donde la primera demostró el nivel inicial del conocimiento de las figuras
bidimensionales y en donde la segunda toma ayudo a evaluar el nivel de identificación,
conocimiento y asimilación de las figuras bidimensionales en las formas de los objetos
del entorno con ayude de estrategias didácticas y finalmente se realizó un análisis del
antes y el después del uso de las figuras bidimensionales como estrategias lúdicas para
ayudar a las asociación de las formas de los objetos del entorno, en conclusión, el conocer
y entender de manera concreta las figuras geométricas ayuda a los niños a una mejor
asimilación visual de manera más abstracta en los niños de 4 a 5 años con ayuda de
estímulos visuales como pictogramas, imágenes, etc.
