Valoración de la calidad de vida mediante el cuestionario Saint George en pacientes post COVID -19

dc.descriptionIntroducción: Debido al estado de emergencia sanitaria por el SARS-CoV-2 (Covid19) el incremento de la carga morbi-mortalidad y secuelas posterior a la enfermedad han desencadenado a factores como la fatiga, sedentarismo, atrofias musculares provocando de esta manera la decadencia en relación a limitación función y en actividades de la vida diaria. Ante esto, es importante mencionar el impacto de la enfermedad en la calidad de vida y su correlación en la salud por medio de la aplicación del cuestionario St. George. Objetivo: Valorar la calidad de vida mediante el cuestionario SAINT GEORGE en pacientes post COVID -19 Métodos: Estudio descriptivo trasversal con modalidad bibliográfica-documental en 24 pacientes post Covid-19 que asisten al Centro de Rehabilitación Física Rehab-vital que firmaron el consentimiento informado, los cuales fueron evaluados por medio del cuestionario Saint George. Al finalizar los datos obtenidos, se sintetizaron en la base de datos de Excel y el software SPSS, donde se obtuvo la frecuencia, media y porcentaje de las variables. Resultados: En este estudio, el 54,2% fueron mujeres con una edad promedio de 52,4 años, los cuáles fueron personal de salud, estudiantes y jubilados los más afectados con 16,7% -25.0% respectivamente. Con respecto a la calidad de vida se encontró 83,3% goza de una “Buena” calidad de vida, el 16,6% de los pacientes tiene una calidad de vida “Regular”, siendo la dimensión “Impacto” la más afectada con una media de 24,33 por encima de las otras dimensiones. Conclusión: La mayor parte de la población del estudio no presentan limitaciones en relación a la calidad de vida en la salud. Sin embargo, el Covid -19 y su valor concomitante con las variables sociodemográficas tienen cierta influencia negativa en la salud.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Due to the state of health emergency caused by SARS-CoV-2 (Covid19), the increase in the morbidity-mortality burden and sequelae following the disease have triggered factors such as sedentary lifestyle, atrophies, fatigue, generating a decrease in functionality and activity limitations. In view of this, it is substantial to mark the influence of the disease on the quality of life in relation to health, through the application of the SAINT GEORGE questionnaire. Objective: Assessment of quality of life using the SAINT GEORGE questionnaire in post-COVID patients -19 Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study with bibliographic-documentary modality in 24 post Covid-19 patients attending the Rehab-vital Physical Rehabilitation Center who signed the informed consent, which were evaluated by means of the Saint George questionnaire. At the end, the data obtained were synthesized in the Excel database and SPSS software, where the frequency, mean and percentage of the variables were obtained. Results: In this study, 54.2% were women with an average age of 52.4 years, who were health personnel, students and retirees the most affected with 16.7% -25.0% respectively. With respect to quality of life, 83.3% had a "Good" quality of life, 16.6% of the patients had a "Fair" quality of life, with the dimension "Impact" being the most affected with an average of 24.33 above the other dimensions. Conclusion: Most of the study population does not present limitations in relation to quality of life in health. However, the Covid -19 and its value concomitant with the sociodemographic variables have a certain negative influence on healthes_ES
