Abstract
La presente investigación radicó en investigar cómo la lectura de textos literarios
ayuda al desarrollo de la creatividad de los estudiantes de Educación General Básica
de la Unidad educativa “Bautista” de la ciudad de Ambato. La metodología empleada
fue con enfoque mixto. La modalidad fue bibliográfica y de campo porque se
identificó las fuentes y autores usados en la investigación que fueron interesantes y
confiables, relacionándolas con el contexto educativo de los estudiantes. El nivel de
investigación fue exploratorio y descriptivo, ya que se determinó cada una de las
variables. Del mismo modo se aplicó la técnica de la encuestas, entrevista y fichas
bibliográficas; la encuesta se estructuró con diez criterios para medir el uso de textos
literarios de los estudiantes; la entrevista dirigida a los docentes fue de diez preguntas,
para analizar el desarrollo de la creatividad de los estudiantes, mientras que, las fichas
bibliográficas, fueron ocho para la fundamentación teórica. La línea de investigación
se basó en el comportamiento social y educativo. Los resultados nos permitieron saber
cómo influye de manera positiva la lectura de textos literarios en el desarrollo de la
creatividad para los estudiantes, aunque con una preferencia por los cuentos, la
enseñanza está con un buen nivel, por lo tanto, tiene calidad y calidez. Las
conclusiones que arrojó la investigación permitieron evidenciar la manera en que los
docentes ayudan a que los estudiantes se interesen y aprendan sobre los textos
literarios, mediante la motivación y el desarrollo de habilidades y destrezas.
Description
The purpose of this research was to investigate how the reading of literary texts helps
the development of the creativity of the students of General Basic Education of the
"Bautista" Educational Unit of the city of Ambato. The methodology used was a mixed
approach. The modality was bibliographic and field because the sources and authors
used in the research were identified as interesting and reliable, relating them to the
educational context of the students. The level of research was exploratory and
descriptive, since each of the variables was determined. The survey was structured
with ten criteria to measure the use of literary texts by students; the interview directed
to teachers consisted of ten questions to analyze the development of students'
creativity, while the bibliographic cards consisted of eight questions for the theoretical
foundation. The line of research was based on social and educational behavior. The
results allowed us to know how the reading of literary texts positively influences the
development of creativity for students, although with a preference for stories, the
teaching is with a good level, therefore, it has quality and warmth. The conclusions
drawn from the research showed how teachers help students to become interested in
and learn about literary texts through motivation and the development of skills and
abilities.
