Diseño Editorial de Material Instruccional como aporte en las Capacitaciones de Primeros Auxilios en Cruz Roja Tungurahua 2025 - 2026

Abstract

First aid training is essential for preparing volunteers at the Red Cross Tungurahua. However, the current educational materials show design deficiencies that affect learning outcomes. This project aims to improve these resources by developing instructiona l editorial materials. The methodology involved research on educational practices and editorial design, along with interviews with graphic designers and educators to evaluate current tools. The proposed solution includes illustrated interactive slides, fla shcards, pocket cards, a guide notebook, and other tools. All with a focus on design. A test was conducted with two groups: Group A (control) using existing materials and Group B (experimental) using the new design. The results showed average scores of 4.5 and 8.9, respectively, demonstrating a significant improvement in learning with the new resources. The findings support that the new editorial design enhances training effectiveness and can be replicated in other Red Cross programs.
