Abstract
The purpose of this research project is to provide the company Lavandería Saritex with a proposal for controlling noise exposure during the jeans washing and dyeing process, with the objective of establishing measures to prevent and control the risk involved. It originates from the problem of a lack of established protocols and safety measures, which is why a qualitive and quantitative approach was used to analyze the perception and experience of the staff in order to accurately diagnose the current state of the company.
During visits to the company, the first phase of the GTC-45 Matrix was applied, which allowed the identification and estimation of the risks existing within the process, finding noise as the main risk affecting workers which required an evaluation.
The noise evaluation revealed that the levels to which the crafts manager is exposed are 84,98 dB (A), with an uncertainty of 3, the person in charge of centrifuging is exposed to 84,20 dB (A), with an uncertainty of 2,64, and finally, the person in charge of drying is exposed to 84,74 dB (A) with an uncertainty of 2,97, exceeding the permitted limits.
It determined the need to establish a control proposal aimed at mitigating the identified risk is determined, with the objective of ensuring adequate health and safety conditions for workers. This document is sent to the general manager of the Saritex laundry, who must assess its feasibility and consider its implementation.

El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad brindar a la empresa Lavandería Saritex una propuesta de control a la exposición a ruido para el proceso de lavado y tinturado de jeans, con el objetivo de establecer medidas de prevención y control al riesgo expuesto. Se origina por la problemática de falta de protocolos y medidas de seguridad establecidas, por lo cual mediante un enfoque cualitativo como cuantitativo se analizó la percepción y la experiencia del personal con el propósito de diagnosticar de manera precisa el estado actual de la empresa.
Durante las visitas a la empresa se aplicó la primera fase de la Matriz GTC-45, lo que permitió identificar y estimar los riesgos existentes dentro del proceso, encontrando al ruido como riesgo principal de afección a los trabajadores por lo cual se necesitó una evaluación.
Al realizar la evaluación del ruido se conoce que los niveles a los que se encuentran expuestos el encargado de manualidades es de 84,98 dB(A) con la incertidumbre de 3, así mismo el encargado del centrifugado 84,20 dB (A) con una incertidumbre de 2,64 y por último el encargado del secado es de 84, 74 dB (A) con una incertidumbre 2,97, superando los límites permitidos.
Se determina la necesidad de establecer una propuesta de control orientada a mitigar el riesgo identificado, con el objetivo de asegurar condiciones adecuadas de seguridad y salud para los trabajadores. Dicho documento es remitido al gerente general de la lavandería Saritex, quien deberá valorar su viabilidad y considerar su implementación.
