This research project with the theme “DYNAMIC BALANCE IN GROSS MOTOR COORDINATION IN STUDENTS OF GENERAL BASIC EDUCATION PREPARATORY. It was created with the objective of determining the incidence of dynamic balance in the development of motor coordination. The research design was based on a quantitative approach, of the experimental design type, by explanatory scope, by obtaining field and longitudinal cut, applying the synthetic analytical method for the theoretical foundation and the hypothetical deductive method for hypothesis testing. This research was carried out at the “José Ignacio Ordoñez” Educational Unit with a study population of 32 schoolchildren. The technique applied was observation and the research instrument was the KTK Infant Body Coordination Test developed by Kiphard and Schilling. The intervention proposal was based on a program based on dynamic balance, developed over a period of 6 weeks with 2 weekly interventions and consisted of different games and activities that contributed to the development of gross motor skills in schoolchildren. As a result of the research, a significance value was determined at a PRE level of less than 0.05, which determined that there was progress after the application of the proposal, demonstrating its validity. In conclusion, it was possible to determine that the program based on dynamic balance had a positive impact on gross motor skills.es_ES
