El hábito lector en el pensamiento analítico

Abstract

This research work "Reading habit in analytical thinking" was carried out in the "Alicia Marcuard de Yerovi" Educational Unit, an institution located in the Salcedo canton, aims to determine the influence of the reading habit on the analytical thinking of high school students. The research was carried out with a mixed approach, it is a descriptive, exploratory and correlational study, the modality of the research is bibliographic, documentary and field, the research details what are the Habits, reading and reading habits and what is the thinking, analysis and analytical thinking breaking down each variable and providing a better concept, mentioning that a habit is the behaviors or activities that are done by repetition. For data collection, questionnaires were applied to 89 students, which allows us to determine the importance that the reading habit has in analytical thinking. The instruments used were the questionnaire "You and reading" and the questionnaire on "Analytical thinking" from which the results and discussions of each proposed dimension were presented, the data collection was correlated with the Chi-square and conclusions and final recommendations of the research work were provided
