Abstract

Introduction: Essential tremors and Parkinson's disease are two neurological disorders that affect millions of people around the world. While they share some similarities in their symptoms, causes, and treatments, they are distinct conditions that require different diagnostic and management approaches. Objective: Determine the characteristics and behavior of the diseases already described through a literature search. Methodology: This article is a bibliography review of the literature, for which a compilation of information from the last 5 years was carried out as deadlines from the year 2018 to the year 2023, in the English and Spanish languages, considering databases such as Pubmed , Springer, Redalyc. Using keywords like: essential Tremor, Parkinson's, and Tremor. The inclusion criteria are: articles that demonstrate the epidemiology, pathophysiology and clinic of both pathologies, which have been published between the years described above, the exclusion criteria include articles that are not within this established date range, those works that are not have corroborable support or are inconclusive or difficult to access, including those that do not show concrete results. Conclusion: The two diseases differ in their symptoms and also in their form of treatment, from general measures to changes in lifestyle that can significantly improve the symptoms.
