Resumen : El tema en estudio LOS JUEGOS POPULARES EN LA EDUCACIÓN VIAL EN ESCOLARES, fue intervenido mediante un tipo de investigacion experimental, de campo para computar el nivel de educacion vial que poseen los escolares de Educacion Basica Elemental de 6 a 8 años mediante un test que contiene preguntas de selección e identificacion de graficos que determina como respuesta correcta o incorrecta y de esta forma poder determinar su nivel de educacion vial, posterior a ello se ejecutaran actividades recreativas mediante la practica de juegos populares que tengan como fin ayudar a los escolares a fortalecer su conocimiento sobre la educacion vial, estos juegos fueron recopilados de diferentes autores y modificados a la enseñanza,practica y prevencion de accidentes en las vias como peatones. Por ultimo los datos copilados del pre y post test seran llevados al programa estadistico SPSS para la respectiva interpretacion mediante las diferentes pruebas que ayudaran a conocer los niveles iniciales y finales de educacion vial y para la comprobacion de la hipotesis se procedera a ejecutar la prueba estadistica de Wilconxon debido a que al tratarse de un pre y post test se tinen que determinar larelacion entre las dos intervenciones y veificar en nuestro caso si los juegos populares ayudan o no al mejoramiento del conocimiento con respecto a la educacion vial de los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Rumiñahui de la ciudad de Ambato y asi de esta manera colavorar a nivel academico con la instrucción practica y formal del cuidado que deben tener los escolares al salir del salon de clases hacia sus hogares.
Descripción : The subject under study, THE POPULAR GAMES IN THE ROAD EDUCATION OF SCHOOL CHILDREN, was intervened by means of a type of experimental investigation, of field to compute the level of road education that have the schoolchildren of Elementary Basic Education from 6 to 8 years by means of a test that contains questions of selection and identification of graphs that determines as correct or incorrect answer and of this form to be able to determine its level of road education, After that, recreational activities will be carried out through the practice of popular games that aim to help schoolchildren to strengthen their knowledge about road safety education, these games were compiled from different authors and modified to the teaching, practice and prevention of accidents on the roads as pedestrians. Finally the data collected from the pre and posttest will be taken to the SPSS statistical program for the respective interpretation by means of the different tests that will help to know the initial and final levels of road safety education and for the verification of the hypothesis we will proceed to execute the Wilconxon statistical test due to the fact that being a pre and posttest we will have to determine the relationship between the two interventions and verify the results of the test. between the two interventions and to verify in our case if the popular games help or not to the improvement of the knowledge with respect to the road education of the students of the Educational Unit Rumiñahui of the city of Ambato and thus in this way to collaborate at academic level with the practical and formal instruction of the care that the students should have when leaving the classroom towards their homes.
