| Zusammenfassung: | El estudio tiene como objetivo investigar el nivel de influencia de la capacitación docente rural en la deserción de los estudiantes del Centro Educativo Comunitario Intercultural Bilingüe “Saraurco” del Cantón Cayambe. Se trabajó con la siguiente metodología; enfoque cuali-cuantitativo, modalidad de campo y bibliográfica; y nivel exploratorio y descriptivo. La técnica utilizada para recabar información fue una encuesta con 5 preguntas dirigida a 16 estudiantes sobre; factores de la deserción escolar e intereses personales. Igualmente, se trabajó con 5 padres de familia y se aplicó una entrevista de 5 preguntas sobre; la importancia de la capacitación docente, acciones para fortalecer la institución educativa y aspectos relacionados a la deserción escolar. Por otro lado, se aplicó una entrevista con 10 preguntas semi estructuradas a 3 docentes sobre: el acceso a programas de capacitación, cursos recibidos y dificultades al trabajar en sectores rurales. Entre los principales resultados obtenidos se encontró que los factores asociados a la capacitación docente en la educación rural que inciden en la deserción escolar son: la nula participación de los maestros en cursos o talleres relacionados a la educación rural o aulas multigrado. Así también, las técnicas, estrategias, métodos y contenidos multidisciplinares utilizados durante el proceso de aprendizaje son descontextualizados al momento de trabajar con estudiantes del sector rural. Lo cual, genera bajo rendimiento académico, poco dominio de la lectoescritura y matemáticas, desinterés por estudiar y abandono escolar. | Beschreibung: | The objective of the study is to investigate the level of influence of rural teacher training on the dropout rate of students from the “Saraurco” Intercultural Bilingual Community Education Center of the Cayambe Canton. The following methodology was used; culi-quantitative approach, field and bibliographic modality; and exploratory and descriptive level. The technique used to collect information was a survey with 5 questions addressed to 16 students about; factors of school dropout and personal interests. Likewise, we worked with 5 parents and an interview of 5 questions was applied about; the importance of teacher training, actions to strengthen the educational institution and aspects related to school dropout. On the other hand, an interview with 10 semi-structured questions was applied to 3 teachers about access to training programs, courses received and difficulties when working in rural sectors. Among the main results obtained were factors associated with teacher training in rural education that affect school dropout are; the null participation of teachers in courses or workshops related to rural education or multigrade classrooms. Likewise, the multidisciplinary techniques, strategies, methods and contents used during the learning process are decontextualized when working with students from the rural sector. Which, generates low academic performance, little mastery of literacy and mathematics, lack of interest in studying and school dropout.
