Abstract
ABSTRACT
In the present Research project, a time study is carried out in the activities and subactivities
of
the
ingredients
dosing
line
in
the
products
in
greatest
demand
for
the
company
Bioalimentar
Cía.
Ltda.
The
study
is
carried
out
with
the
aim
of
identifying
the
time
spent
on
dosing
certain
products
by
using
a
time
study
in the
Industrial
Engineering
branch.
The products with the highest demand are determined through the application of the ABC
diagram so that through the study of times, the existing bottleneck can be identified within
the dosing process of the products selected in the study. The use of flow charts and
process-analysis diagrams of the product are required to better understand the dosing
process in general.
In addition, the calculation of the standard time and the production capacity for a working
day of one to four batches of the selected products is carried out in order to propose an
improvement solution that increases the daily production capacity.
As a result, the standard dosing time of each of the products from one to four batch of
ingredients sent to the line, the production capacity and the identification of the bottleneck
are obtained, an improvement solution is also proposed, focusing on attacking the
bottleneck establishing ideal time values that reduce dosing time and increase batch
production capacity in the products studied.
With the results obtained, the idea of reestablishing the times of certain activities and
subactivities that make up the ingredient dosing line is proposed as an improvement within
the production area of the company Bioalimentar Cía. Ltda.

RESUMEN
En el presente proyecto de Investigación se realiza un estudio de tiempos en las
actividades y subactividades de la línea de dosificado de ingredientes en los productos de
mayor demanda para la empresa Bioalimentar Cía. Ltda. El estudio se realiza con el
objetivo de identificar el tiempo que se invierte en dosificar ciertos productos mediante la
utilización de un estudio de tiempos.
Se determina los productos de mayor demanda por medio de la aplicación del diagrama
ABC para que a través del estudio de tiempos se pueda identificar el cuello de botella
existente en el proceso de dosificado. Se requiere de la utilización de diagramas de
recorrido y diagramas de proceso-análisis del producto para comprender de mejor manera
el proceso de dosificado en general.
Además, se realiza el cálculo del tiempo estándar y de la capacidad de producción para
una jornada laboral de uno a cuatro batch de los productos seleccionados con la finalidad
de proponer una solución de mejora que eleve la capacidad de producción diaria.
Como resultados se obtiene el tiempo de dosificación estándar de cada uno de los
productos de uno a cuatro batch de ingredientes enviados a la línea, la capacidad de
producción y la identificación del cuello de botella, también se propone una solución de
mejora centrándose en atacar las demoras, estableciendo valores de tiempos idóneos que
reduzcan el tiempo de dosificación y aumenten la capacidad de producción de batch en
los productos estudiados.
Con los resultados obtenidos se propone reestablecer los tiempos de ciertas actividades y
subactividades que conforman la línea de dosificado de ingredientes como mejora dentro
del área de producción de la empresa Bioalimentar Cía. Ltda.
