Abstract: The present investigation has done in secondary students with unfinished schooling in “Monseñor leonidas Proaño” Educative Unit. This investigation counted with a singular public from 18 years old. It is singular because those students did not have the opportunity to study regularly and they decide to study using they rights taking account that they are independent people and capable to assume individual role of the society. The correlational methodology used in this project has permitted stablished two variables such us: phubbing and family communication. Those variables show that each one with their characteristics has a direct influence in the society. For this reason the exercise use of cellphone has been influenced in a negative form because it causes not communication with parents and academic problems. The behavior of the participants in this investigation have been positive because it permit know the conduct acquired with the used of the cellphones in the school activities. It englobes individual contexts and as result it generate unconscious technological dependence. It affects the development of personal communication giving way to foster a new machine-person relationship. The family communication and education is the key to improving the current situation where the cellphones and socials networks have taken the total attention and interest of students. Consequently face to face communication has been replaced. It is necessary take actions immediately that permit responsible uses of the tools and goodness that technology through internet can offer.
Description: La presente investigación se realizó en estudiantes de secundaria con escolaridad inconclusa en la Unidad Educativa “Monseñor Leonidas Proaño” es decir que se contó con un público singular de 18 años de edad en adelante que por circunstancias adversas no ha podido seguir con sus estudios regulares y han decidido realizarlo por sus propios derechos, tomando en cuenta que son personas independientes capaces de asumir roles individuales en la sociedad. La metodología correlacional utilizada en el trabajo ha permitido relacionar dos variables: por un lado el phubbing y por otro la comunicación familiar, además la compatibilidad de estas variables demuestran que cada una con sus características influyen en la sociedad de manera directa, en el actual caso el uso excesivo del celular ha logrado cambios tanto en el área de familia como académica. El comportamiento de los sujetos de investigación en este caso se ha dado de manera positiva, ya que se permitió conocer la conducta desarrollada con el uso del celular en todas las actividades, mismas que engloban diferentes contextos del individuo; dando así como resultado que en este proceso se genera una dependencia tecnológica no concienciada que afecta el desempeño en comunicación personal, dando paso a fomentar una nueva relación máquina- persona. La comunicación familiar y la educación son la llave para mejorar la situación actual donde los teléfonos celulares y las redes sociales han captado el interés total y el conversar cara a cara ha sido reemplazado; se necesita tomar acciones inmediatas que permitan el uso responsable de las herramientas y bondades que el internet puede brindar.
