Item type:Ítem, El ciclo vital de la familia y el rol de la mujer en el hogar de los militares de la escuela de formación de soldados en la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2026-07-08) ;Tapia Pérez, Mayra AlexandraPino Loza, Eulalia DoloresThis research analyzes the relationship between the family life cycle and the role of women in military households in the city of Ambato. The study is based on the understanding that different stages of family development generate changes in responsibilities, functions, and family dynamics. In this context, women play a fundamental role in household organization, especially during periods when military personnel are absent due to work-related duties. The research identifies the main roles assumed by women throughout the family life cycle, as well as the challenges and adaptation strategies that emerge within the military environment. The findings contribute to a better understanding of how military life influences role distribution and family stability, providing valuable information to support the well-being of military familiesItem type:Ítem, Dinámica familiar y construcción de proyecto de vida(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2026-01-15) ;Aucancela Lema, Pablo AlexanderAltamirano Altamirano, Silvia JovannaIn recent years, the study of family dynamics has gained particular relevance due to its close relationship with the comprehensive development of adolescents, especially in contexts of social vulnerability. Adolescence, understood as a stage of profound emotional and social changes, requires a family environment that provides clear communication, stable affection, and guiding authority. When these conditions are absent, challenges arise that may affect the construction of a life project, a fundamental process through which young people define goals, aspirations, and a sense of direction toward the future. The present study was conducted with the purpose of determining the influence of family dynamics on the construction of the life project of adolescents participating in the Luz de Vida Project. The sample consisted of 120 adolescents aged between 14 and 21 years. A survey instrument aligned with a quantitative research approach was applied to assess the dimensions of communication, affectivity, and authority, as well as the components of the life project, including goals, achievements, and motivation. The results indicate that most adolescents perceive a relatively functional family dynamic, particularly in terms of expressions of affection and openness to communication and dialogue. However, cases were also identified in which authority is exercised inconsistently or with limited guidance, which affects some adolescents’ ability to define clear goals, envision their long-term future, or maintain consistent motivation in their personal plans. A key finding of the study is that adolescents who experience greater emotional support and fluid communication within the family tend to cope better and project themselves more positively, establishing stronger foundations for their lives over the next ten years without generating significant conflicts. It is concluded that family dynamics have a significant influence on the construction of adolescents’ life projects. Adolescents raised in cohesive family environments show greater clarity regarding their academic, occupational, and personal aspirations, whereas those facing difficulties within family relationships encounter greater challenges in planning their future. These findings highlight the need to strengthen family bonds and promote psychosocial support strategies that contribute to a healthy transition into adulthood.Item type:Ítem, Dinámica Familiar en la Etapa de Jubilación(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2026-01-20) ;Castañeda Jiménez, Nicole JulianaBalseca Basantes, Jeanneth ElizabethRetirement in older adults represents a significant transitional stage characterized by changes in daily routines, role readjustments, variations in family coexistence, and the need to reconfigure personal identity after leaving the workforce. The understanding of family dynamics during this stage was analyzed through nine central categories: family communication, family roles, affectivity, adaptability, family cohesion, limits and norms, conflict resolution, obstacles presented during retirement, and new forms of family interaction. This research aimed to determine the family dynamics in the retirement stage of the members of the Federation of Retirees and Pensioners of Tungurahua. The population consisted of 35 older adults, men and women between 65 and 84 years of age. A semi-structured interview technique was applied using a qualitative methodological approach, employing an instrument of 11 questions designed and validated through expert judgment. Through content analysis and the use of the Atlas.ti software, patterns, similarities, and experiences were identified that allowed an understanding of how families reorganize their coexistence after retirement. The results showed that this stage involves a series of emotional, social, and family transformations, demonstrating that family dynamics during retirement is a complex process requiring adaptation, support, and coping strategies. Finally, an intervention proposal was developed from Social Work at the individual, family, and group levels, aimed at strengthening coexistence and promoting affective communication.Item type:Ítem, Dinámica familiar y autoestima en hijos de diversidad sexual(2024-08) ;Sozoranga Karolys, Mayhuri NayeliParedes Ruiz, Teresa de JesúsSexual diversity encompasses a wide range of sexual identities and orientations, reflecting experiences that go beyond heterosexuality and traditional gender roles. Therefore, promoting respect, tolerance, and inclusion toward sexual diversity is essential for building an equitable society where human rights are fulfilled. This also allows us to create public policies in favor of the LGBTIQ+ community to minimize high levels of homophobia, exclusion, discrimination, murders, and suicides among this vulnerable population due to their sexual orientation. The main objective of this research project is to determine the influence of family dynamics and self-esteem in children of sexual diversity. The study is descriptive and correlational. The findings were obtained through a purely quantitative approach using the survey technique. We attached the instruments previously validated in Latin American contexts adapted to the Spanish language, which measures the variables of analysis for the independent variable - the Rosenberg scale was used and the dependent variable. The questionnaires were applied to 50 people of sexual diversity belonging to the LGBTIQ+ community "COALICIÓN LGBTIQ+ COTOPAXI UN MUNDO DIVERSO" led by Carlos Alberto Sandoval Castro. The research results show a significant influence of family dynamics and self-esteem on children of sexual diversity, revealing that a healthy and supportive family environment is associated with high self-esteem levels. Therefore, it is essential to continue proposing awareness-raising alternatives to mitigate social problems that affect people in the LGBTIQ+ communityItem type:Ítem, Dinámica familiar en la etapa del nido vacío(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2023-09) ;Espín Laverde, Marjorie LilianaBalseca Basantes, Jeanneth ElizabethThroughout the life cycle, the family goes through various stages and transitions that shape its dynamics and structure. One of these stages is the empty nest, this occurs when a son leave home to seek their independence and establish themselves, leaving the parents to face a new reality: living alone again. The objective of the study was to determine the family dynamics that occurs in the empty nest stage of the parent teachers of the "Belisario Quevedo" Educational Unit in the city of Pujilí, it worked with 30 teachers who are going through this situation. The research has a qualitative approach, an interview guide of 21 questions was designed, distributed in 4 dimensions (crisis, family adaptability, individuation, affective unity), with 10 indicators (reaction, mourning, detachment, structure, roles, habits, reunion in the couple, sense of identity, life project and social support), it was validated through the review of three experts and for its analysis a semantic network was elaborated that allowed to identify the most significant aspects that characterize this stage and thus determine the new dynamics. In the research process, it was possible to identify two events in this transition, called "partially empty nest" when some children have left home, and the "complete empty nest", when all the children have left. Among the most relevant results, it was found that family dynamics change mainly in roles, structure, communication, affective relationships, authority, and in the sense of identity and autonomy. With the information collected, several intervention strategies are proposed from Social Work to help parents in coping with this stage, focused on guidance and education, strengthening the filial and marital relationship, promoting support networks, and developing skills and personal projects.Item type:Ítem, Actividad laboral y dinámica familiar en los empleados en modalidad de teletrabajo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2022-03) ;Arévalo Pozo, Marley RashellAltamirano Altamirano, Silvia JovannaThis research about the work activity and family dynamics in employees in teleworking modality is posed due to the increase of workers under the virtual modality that takes place in the home of the person, especially for the health situation that was experienced by the pandemic of Covid-19, is to say, in a same space the worker had to assume family and job roles. Mobile devices have come to revolutionize society, especially the youngest, due to the various purposes they have, however, excessive use at night time generates drastic changes in daily activities, to the point of neglecting important aspects such as sleep, family and social relationships, academic performance and basic needs. For the execution of the research, a methodology with a quantitative approach was used, three previously validated questionnaires were used, for the independent variable the "Mobile Phone Dependence Test" was merged, consisting of the dimensions of abstinence, lack of control and derived problems and tolerance and interference with other activities with the "Oviedo Sleep Questionnaire", composed of subjective sleep satisfaction, insomnia and hypersomnia, and for the dependent variable, the "Family Functioning Perception Questionnaire" was used with the dimensions of adaptability, roles, affectivity, permeability, communication, harmony and cohesion. In the process of hypothesis testing, a positive correlation was demonstrated that determines that vamping has an impact on the family dynamics of adolescents, which reflected that a considerable number of students practice this technological phenomenon. In addition, cell phone dependence and sleep quality are factors that are related to family type, where problems are accentuated in severely dysfunctional families, and are reduced as household functionality improves.Item type:Ítem, Dinámica familiar y desempeño académico de los estudiantes de una Unidad Educativa de Huaquillas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato.
