The syndrome of professional exhaustion is one of the most relevant problems at the national level, it originates due to the individual's tension, that is, the inability to confront a particular situation that causes him discomfort, such as harassment, emotional imbalance, ill-treatment, interpersonal conflicts, etc., resulting in poor work performance, which limits the normal functioning of daily activities. The study population is of 368 employees of the administrative area of the Technical University of Ambato, who were surveyed under the Burn Out test. The research objective is to measure the relationship between the Occupational Wear Syndrome and the Occupational Performance of the administrative staff of the said institution. In the methodology, exploratory research was used to know the underlying aspects of the collaborators' situation and the conclusive research to describe the characteristics of the problem, testing a particular hypothesis
