    The main objective of this research project was the quality of the pharmacy status service of the IESS Ambato Hospital and measured the satisfaction of the members with regard to the service provided by this medical unit, focusing at all times on analyzing Through indicators, the efficiency and efficiency of operations and the rational use of institutional resources. The research problem arises from the shortage of medicines in the face of the considerable growth in the number of affiliates, as antecedent of this fact the pharmacy service of the Hospital IESS Ambato reported that it had a considerable growth, due to the increase in the coverage of medical care that Currently provides this Hospital Unit, there has been a considerable increase in pharmaceutical care in both the Emergency and Hospitalization, External Consultation, and Pharmacy areas of the Comprehensive Care Center, so you can see a simple view that most Services Provided by the Hospitals are saturated, in this sense, these events give rise to several internal management problems, since it is extremely complex to identify the therapeutic needs of the population, consequently this has generated the hospital to have a poor system of pharmaceutical supplies, thus affecting the patients they go to the hospital.

    La ejecución presupuestaria asignada al departamento de farmacia y la satisfacción de los afiliados del Hospital del IESS Ambato en el año 2015

    Currently, Ecuador has 99 hospitals in operation, among these hospitals there are about 36 accredited hospitals and in the process of international accreditation, the Hospital of IESS Ambato is in the process of accreditation, every year the government allocates about $ 399,495,857.00 for the health sector, in recent years there has been a large increase in the budget allocated to hospitals, in spite of the great increase many of the hospitals do not manage to maintain an adequate service for the affiliates. The present case study has the fundamental purpose of responding to the problem detected in the pharmacy department of the IESS Ambato Hospital, the objective of this investigation was to investigate in what form the inadequate budgetary execution in the satisfaction of the members of the Hospital, the problem arises from the absence of drugs in the Hospital and the progressive increase in social coverage, since by means of (Executive Decree No. 3119, Official Register Supplement 797, 2010, Article 37), it is established that the spouse, the minor children, the father and mother of the insured, the aspiring officer and the applicant for police are entitled to sickness and maternity benefits. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the benefit of society, since people who are affiliated with the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute have the right to receive quality medical care, which is why it is necessary to carry out an evaluation of the processes Linked to the budget execution and services provided by the pharmacy department of the IESS Ambato Hospital.
