    This research conducted at of students in the ninth EGB. “Dr. Benigno Malo” the Chiquichá Parish, Canton Pelileo, allowed to glimpse that score poorly on academic performance, the students of that institutions lack proper motivation, a situation that worries the authorities of the institution and parents of ninth year. Therefore an unmotivated student studying not fun, you feel bored, tired and forced; these concepts do not allow adequate comprehensive development of persona. Been disunity in teacher-student relationships, so it is the responsibility of teachers continually updated in the acquisition and use of methods, techniques, strategies on intrinsic motivation and thereby strengthen the emotional development and studying. La research is based on the scientific method as a way of understanding the educational reality of the population study, the use of this method facilitate hypothesis testing and applied directly to the educational institution “Dr. Benigno Malo” so that lifting timely information will be analyzed and interpreted. Finally based on critical proactive approach will consider a proposal to solve the problem of intrinsic motivation and development of emotional intelligence.
