Item Los prejuicios en cuanto a la expresión artística del graffiti en la ciudad de Latacunga(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Posgrado, Maestría en Antropología y medios digitales, 2018-08) Molina Sáenz, Diana Nataly; Jiménez Sánchez, AlvaroThe purpose of this research is to expose the aesthetic part of grafiti as well as to give knowledge through visual communication what the urban writer expresses, and as the activity they perform is still considered an act of vandalism. This type of cultural expression and its content has been stigmatized by society because it is considered an activity charged with negative aspects and that does not contribute to the development of a population these criteria are based on how grafiti emerged For it was created with the purpose of communicating disagreements, inequalities and even injustices of a society reason why it is related as with the rebellion and the vandalism being an illegal activity. As a result of this research we have that this art gives the possibility to urban artists that through grafiti can generate a variety of concepts because the creativity of these people plays a very important role when communicating. The majority of grafitis exist a story to tell in relation to feelings, thoughts, disagreements contributions among other aspects that had the urban artist that moment, as well as the legacy of this expression will represent the social context to through art, however, part of the Latacungas´ Society still has prejudices on this subject that has not been understood as art but as an act of vandalism.
