    ABSTRACT In Ecuador, migration is a topic of national interest because of its social, political and economic dimensions that lead to this social phenomenon that has had positive impacts on the increase of the country's economy, but most of them have negatively affected members of migrant families. The study of this phenomenon and its impacts, has much emphasis on the social problems that affect stability and the adoption of a new cultural behavior of the families of Ecuadorian migrants are the subject of this thesis work. The research was conducted in the province of Cotopaxi, in the canton of Pujilí, Guangaje parish in the Tigua area in the 12 communities belonging to the area. The present research work needs to define the concept of migration, in addition to identifying and analyzing the different impacts that the topic entails. Therefore, it describes the cultural behavior in the families of migrants from the communities of the Tigua area and also shows an analysis of certain types of migration that exist in the area. Finally, it is intended to make the proposal of a digital radio program whose main objective is to mitigate the problem before this conflict, which consequently causes the change of socio-cultural behavior in the inhabitants of the 12 communities of the same area. As a research methodology we chose the qualitative method, the instruments used for the data collection were semi-structured interviews, testimonies and visual evidence that the Tigua area has presented over the years. The interviews were conducted with the leaders of the CITIGAT organization, community councils, men and women, the elderly, the latter a random sample was made. At the end of this research work with the theoretical and methodological work suggested and also direct observation will serve as a reference for future work in this area.
