Item Uso de germinado de trigo rico en compuesto fenólico no estrogénico sobre la calidad seminal en conejos mestizos(2025-08) Barrionuevo Masabanda, Samia Anahi; Aragadvay Yungán, Ramón GonzaloThe scarcity of industrialized rabbit farms, in addition to their limited development compared to other species, results in low reproductive rates. To this end, sprouting has been incorporated into the diet because, at young stages, wheat contains a large amount of secondary metabolites, including a large amount of the non-estrogenic phenolic compound 6-methoxybenzoxalinone (6- MBOA), and contains antioxidants, which slow lipid pre-oxidation. Four treatments were carried out: T0: Control treatment (alfalfa without Pseudopeziza medicagnis and feed); T1: alfalfa contaminated with Pseudopeziza medicagnis, 25% wheat sprouts, and feed; T2: alfalfa contaminated with Pseudopeziza medicagnis, 50% wheat sprouts, and feed; and T3: Control treatment (alfalfa with Pseudopeziza medicagnis and feed). The results were evaluated using a completely randomized experimental design using the Tukey test (p < 0.05). The results obtained within the parameters of semen quality such as volume, concentration, mobility and vitality showed improved results within days 8 and 12 with a 50% addition of wheat germ. Meanwhile, in the case of morphology, fewer morphological abnormalities were evident from day 4 onwards, especially in curled tails, bent tails, and there was no difference in the case of color. Within serum testosterone, an increase in levels was evidente
