Mg.The present research is focused on determining the incidence of chronic ankle instability in the Public Health units in Latacunga taking into account that it is a population very susceptible to exhibit this type of problem due to many factors such as the use of inappropriate footwear, consequences of ankle sprains not adequately treated, feelings of insecurity, permanent discomfort, mechanical alterations of the joint such as blockages, clicks or clicks causing difficulty in daily activities, using an observational record through a group survey of 36 people of both sexes performing a statistical analysis of the data yielding a positive 53% probability in the sign of ankle drawer. Finally all of the aforementioned reasons for carrying out the present study in order to investigate, observe and verify the incidence of chronic ankle instability in the administrative staff of the public health units in Latacunga in this way contributes to improving the quality of life, avoidance of work absenteeism, the expense of family and personal environment, more of it remains the evidence of chronic ankle instability in the administrative staff of the Public Health Units in Latacunga.Item Plastia de Ligamento Peroneo Astragalino anterior por Inestabilidad de Tobillo a causa de un Traumatismo Directo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Terapia Física, 2016-11-01) Caisa Yupangui, Ana Beatriz; Córdova Velasco, Luis Ernesto Dr. Mg.This analysis of clinical case is performed on a patient of 24 years suffering trauma in his right ankle two years ago in a car accident and underwent surgery where plasty fibular ligament anterior talus is by chronic instability ankle. Plasty aims to modify or rebuild the deformed structure, in this case the ligament is rarely used surgical treatment for ankle instability in patients who are not athletes. Ankle instability experienced by the patient is a consequence of several factors that contributed to the production of the same: the biological factor due to a skin infection, their academic activities that did not allow appropriate treatment is made, but we must also name other background that influenced the complication of the disease such as improper diagnosis, lack of complementary examinations, the delay in obtaining a turn to a specialist and especially the lack of information to the patient's pathology suffered and not the physical therapy is done on time and properly. To give an adjunct to surgical treatment of plasty of anterior talar fibular ligament reinforced tendon peroneus brevis, it has proposed a physical therapy based on exercises that help you gain greater stability and balance in the ankle joint.
