    The research project focuses specifically on the effects of applied hydrotherapy on paraparesic children with cerebral palsy. The content of the research includes the most important and relevant aspects about the effects of hydrotherapy considered as an alternative therapy. The interest in research comes from the need and importance of providing a better quality of life to people in this case children suffering from paraesthesia and muscular retractions of lower limbs with cerebral palsy. The research project consists of four chapters in which different topics were studied according to the importance and relevance that they report to the study, this was limited to paraparesic students with cerebral palsy from the Ambato Specialized Educational Unit.
