    The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) serve the human being in all orders, in the educational field much more, since it is an activity that serves for the human being to survive, understand the environment and form an idea to live in this. However, the technologies, in the country, have not been taken advantage of in their real dimension. For this reason this research was proposed, in order to understand how the current world is in the province of Tungurahua, in order to propose from the Technical University of Ambato, a panorama of understanding about education and communication. From that point, certain solutions are proposed, from social networks, especially from Facebook, so that real teaching-learning processes are carried out, in order not to waste this new technology that serves people. This will achieve a social and educational change, not only linked to scientific and technological development, but rather, pointing to the paradigm shift in the way that the subjects (in this case the students) have to conceive the community, to education, to nature, as well as to its relationship with other digitalized realities. However, this will be achieved when both students and teachers learn to share information and manage social networks, for example, for changes both mentality and action of both groups, which serve to mediate
