The development of this research aims to propose a road conservation system with slope stabilization using the metal mesh method on the Quero Puñachizag road in the stretch from abscissa 0 + 000 to 3 + 500 in the province of Tungurahua. Initially, the topographic survey was carried out in coordinates UTM WGS 84 zone 17 south where the road section and the zone for the stabilization of the slope were identified. The TPDA vehicle count was performed for 7 days. For the collection of the information of the road section, test pits (PCA) were used, with this the laboratory tests were carried out: Granulometry, Atterberg Limits, modified Proctor and CBR. In the evaluation of the state of the pavement, the PCI index and Benkelman beam were used, these tests allowed to identify the quality and severity of faults that exist in the tread layer. In the stabilization of the slope, we carried out an extraction of altered and unaltered samples where the main characteristics of the types of soil found were identified and by means of the Fellenius stabilization method and application of the GEOSTUDIO program, a safety factor was determined, being the main indicator of the condition. where the slope is located, which allowed the slope to considerably increase its stability.
